About Me

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!

A little bit about me:  My husband, Mark, and I have been married for 37 years!  We met at San Jose State University, where we both went to school! Mark joined the Navy right before we married so this Northern California girl moved to Pensacola, Florida for a year and then we spent six years in Jacksonville, Florida.  The Navy taught Mark how to fly and at the end of his Navy career he was flying F-18s off an aircraft carrier.  We moved back to California (I love my home state), when Mark went to work for Delta Airlines.

We have two beautiful daughters, Jenny and Erin and a wonderful son-in-law, Erin’s husband, Tyler.  We have two grandchildren and feel so lucky to have these little people in our lives. This past September, we moved from Northern California to Southern California so we could be closer to them and so that they’d know who we are!  Mark and I LOVE being grandparents!

I am a retired teacher.  I taught first through fifth grade for 22 years and then retired in June 2012, several months before the birth of our first grandchild. We didn’t plan these two major life changes to coincide, we just got very lucky! I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator for 8 years and I’ve loved every minute of it. I enjoy sharing projects I’ve made using Stampin’ Up! products with the hope that I’ll inspire you to be creative!
