Quick and Cute

happy birthday Did you have a nice weekend?  I went to the movies TWICE this past weekend!  I love going to the movies but lately it seems that I rarely go. My daughter, Jenny, and I saw Saving Mr. Banks and August:  Osage County – two completely opposite movies.  We had lots of fun and lots of conversation after each one!

Today I have a happy birthday card that was so easy to put together.  The base of my card is Island Indigo with a piece of Watercolor Wonder DSP on top of it.  I love this DSP!  The greens and blues are so pretty and I decided to use it on my card as if it was a piece of wrapping paper on a gift.  It is “tied up” with our pretty organza ribbon. I stamped a few flowers from the set Petite Petals on a piece of Whisper White cut out with a Chalk Talk Framelit.  My sentiment is from Sassy Salutations.  I used snail to adhere this piece to my card but think it might look nicer with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.  If you are looking for a quick and cute card, this is it!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
