Quick and Easy Card with Sponging

Happy Birthday sponged

Has your week started off well?  Mine has been very busy with my daughters and granddaughter.  That’s the best kind of busy!

My card today was created with our Stamping Sponges and stamp pads.  I used Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight and Rose Red.  After it dried, I stamped the birthday greeting with black Staz-On.  I added  dimensionals to the back and my card was finished very quickly!  I’m always trying to create cards that I can easily send off in the mail so although I wanted to add more to this card, I decided to just leave it as is.   If you would like to see a video on how to create this effect with sponges, let me know and I’ll make a video.

Have a terrific day and thank you for stopping by!

Thinking of You Side Fold Card

Thinking of You Side Fold open

Another card today using the Watercolor Wonder paper.  I hope you aren’t getting tired of this paper!  This is a normal sized card but on the front, you make a score line at 2-3/4″ and fold it back to create this fun fold.  It doesn’t lie flat so it was hard to take a picture of it closed.

Hexagon Hive Meets Watercolor Wonder

Hexagon Hive Watercolor Wonder

I LOVE this card.  I waited until a few weeks ago to purchase the Hexagon Hive Framelit and I am wondering why I waited so long!!  You can do so many different things with it!

If you follow my blog, you know that I love the Watercolor Wonder DSP.   This paper looks so pretty peeking through the Hexagon Hive Framelit.  I punched my butterflies out of the paper as well and then sponged them along the edges.  My sentiment (from the set Six Sided Sampler) is stamped on a hexagon that I punched using the Hexagon punch.  This hexagon is a bit bigger than the ones on the Framelit.  I sponged Island Indigo and Gumball Green onto Whisper White and then stamped my image on top of that.

Only FIVE more days of Sale-a-bration!  You can visit my online store here!

Watercolor Wonder Bag in a Box

Basket in a box

Basket in a box side view

Happy Monday!  I hope you had a relaxing, fun weekend!  Today I have a cute little Easter box that was inspired by Sam Donald, a UK Stampin’ Up! demo,  using the Envelope Punch Board.  I made just a small change by turning the side flaps inward using glue dots.  I used the beautiful Watercolor Wonder DSP.  My flowers were created using the flower punch in the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and “Happy Easter” is from the set Teeny Tiny Wishes. The 3/4″ Circle Punch was used to create the handle and I tied it up with Daffodil Delight 1/4″ Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon. If you would like to recreate this little box, you can see Sam’s video here.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!

New Video

Today I have a video showing you how to make the cute gum holders that I’ve posted over the last several days.  So easy to make!  My inspiration for this project came from Connie Babbert several years ago. If you make one, I would LOVE to receive an email from you with your creation!  If you have any questions, please let me know!
