About Me

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!

A little bit about me:  My husband, Mark, and have been married for 42 years!  We met at San Jose State University, where we both went to school and lived on the same dorm floor.  Mark joined the Navy right before we married so this Northern California girl moved to Pensacola, Florida for a year and then we spent six years in Jacksonville, Florida (I never saw such huge bugs as when we lived there). The Navy taught Mark how to fly and at the end of his Navy career he was flying F-18s off an aircraft carrier. I’m still in awe of the fact that he used to do that!  We moved back to California (I love my home state), when Mark went to work for Delta Airlines in 1988.

We have two beautiful daughters, Jenny and Erin and two wonderful son-in-laws, Mike and Tyler.  We have three grandchildren and feel so lucky to have these little people in our lives. We lived in Northern California for 28 years in Discovery Bay but moved in 2016, to Southern California, in Temecula,  so we could be closer to our grandchildren as they grow up.  Mark and I LOVE being grandparents!

I am a retired teacher.  I taught first through fifth grade for 22 years and then retired in June 2012, several months before the birth of our first grandchild. We didn’t plan these two major life changes to coincide, we just got very lucky! Mark had planned to keep working for several more years but decided to retire in August 2020 during the Covid pandemic.

I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator for 14 years and I’ve loved every minute of it. I enjoy sharing projects I’ve made using Stampin’ Up! products with the hope that my projects will inspire you to be creative!
