Today’s card is one that I made several months ago and never posted. It was made using the Wanted to Say Dies, Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper, the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and Lost Lagoon 1/4″ Bordered Ribbon.
I started with a piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock for the base of my card. Next, I embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and then adhered it to the front of the card.
I layered a piece of Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper to a piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock. Then I wrapped a piece of Lost Lagoon Bordered Ribbon around the layers and tied a knot. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered the layer to the front of the card.
I used the Wanted to Say Dies to cut a piece of Basic White cardstock and Lost Lagoon cardstock to cut the background and the words “Feel Better Soon”. After cutting them out, I glued the Lost Lagoon Feel Better Soon to the white background. Then, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back (I had to cut a few in half) and adhered it to the front of the card.

Today’s card was created using Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, Painted Texture Embossing Folder, Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch and the stamp set, Cottage Rose.
I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock for the base of my card and then added a piece of Mint Macaron cardstock. I then embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock using the Painted Texture Embossing Folder and adhered it to the Mint Macaron cardstock.
I used the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch to cut two pieces of Country Gingham Designer Series Paper and two pieces of Mint Macaron cardstock. I embossed the Mini Macaron pieces using the Painted Texture Embossing Folder. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of each rectangle and then placed them on the front of the card.
I stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink onto Basic White using the stamp set, Cottage Rose. I cut it out using the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch then added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the card. To complete my card, I added three Basic Rhinestones below the sentiment.
Here’s another version of today’s card. This is actually the card I made first. I decided it was a bit flat for my taste (but it’s flatter to mail) so I carefully took the pieces off and added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of each rectangle. This card is also vertical rather than horizontal.

by Tracy | Aug 31, 2020 | Die-Cutting, Embossing Folders, Get Well Card
Today’s card features the All Things Fabulous Bundle which includes the stamp set, All Things Fabulous and the Fabulous Florals Dies. I made this card for a friend and waited until she received it before sharing it with you.
The base of my card is Flirty Flamingo cardstock (all the measurements can be found below the Supply List). Before adding a piece of Whisper White cardstock to the card base, I embossed it using the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder.
To create the flowers, I used Whisper White cardstock and Flirty Flamingo ink. There are many stamps in this set and to keep track of which flowers go together, Stampin’ Up! has labeled them on the protective sheet inside the case. Genius!
Each flower was stamped with three different stamps. I inked each stamp up and then stamped onto a piece of scratch paper before stamping onto my Whisper White cardstock (I stamped the largest image first). The leaves were stamped using Granny Apple Green ink.
I cut the flowers and leaves using the Fabulous Florals Dies. Two of the flowers were adhered to the embossed Whisper White piece using Multipurpose Glue and I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the top flower before attaching it to the card front.
I inked the sentiment with Flirty Flamingo ink using the stamp set, So Sentimental. It was cut out using the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back before adhering the sentiment to the front of the card.

by Tracy | Jan 29, 2020 | Designer Series Paper, Die-Cutting, Get Well Card
A great place to get inspiration is right from the pages of a Stampin’ Up! catalog! As I was looking through the new Mini Catalog, I saw a card (page 21) that started some ideas flowing and this is the card I created!
I used the stamp set, So Sentimental, along with the coordinating Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Purchase these two items using the special bundle item number (153828) and you’ll save 10%!
The base of the card is Petal Pink cardstock with a layer of Whisper White cardstock. The Designer Series Paper is Best Dressed which is 6″ x 6″ paper. Our Stitched So Sweetly Dies were used to cut out the sentiment as well as the stitched rectangle under it. Lovely Lipstick ink was used with the So Sentimental stamp set for the sentiment. I popped both the sentiment and the scalloped rectangle up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. If you’d like to make today’s card, you can find the measurements below.
Measurements
- Petal Pink cardstock: 11″ x 4-1/4″
- Whisper White cardstock: 5-1/4″ x 4″
- Best Dressed 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper: 5″ x 3-3/4″
- Best Dressed 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper: scrap for rectangle (approx. 3-3/4″ x 2-3/4″)
- Whisper White cardstock: scrap for sentiment

by Tracy | Oct 15, 2018 | Designer Series Paper, Get Well Card
I needed a quick card this morning so I used this layout here and just changed up the paper and colors. I used Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper which comes in 6″ x 6″ sheets. You can make two cards out of one sheet and use the leftover paper to jazz up the inside. The Melon Mambo piece of cardstock went through the Big Shot using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. The roses are a bit bold so I thought this folder went nicely with it, soft and subtle. Night of Navy cardstock was used for the base, underneath the Designer Series Paper and underneath the sentiment. (more…)
