Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper Happy Birthday Card

I made a birthday card for my uncle using Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper. I also used the stamp set, With You in Mind, the Countryside Corners Dies and Low Profile Dots

I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock for the base of my card. Then, I adhered a piece of Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper to a piece of Boho Blue cardstock. Boho Blue will be retiring soon, so if you love the color, I’d suggest getting the products now (cardstock, inks, Stampin’ Blends, etc.). Also Copper Clay, Wild Wheat, Moody Mauve and Pebbled Path are also retiring.

I then adhered the Boho Blue/Timeless Plaid DSP panel to the front of the card.

I stamped the sentiment on Basic White cardstock in Boho Blue ink, then cut it out using the Countryside Corners Dies. I then cut the next largest shape out of Boho Blue cardstock and adhered the sentiment to the front. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the card front.

To complete my card I added three Low Profile Dots to the front of the card.

Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper

The card I’m sharing with you today was made using Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper, Beautiful Butterflies Bundle, Textured Notes Dies and Starburst Sequins

I started with Fresh Freesia cardstock for the base of my card. Next, I adhered a piece of Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the front of the card (I have all the measurements I used below the Supply List).

I cut a Basic White rectangle using the Textured Notes Dies and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, I set this aside. Then, I used the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder (this comes with ten dies) and cut the Fresh Freesia butterfly and the Lovely Garden DSP butterfly. I did use the embossing folder and the die for my Fresh Freesia butterfly but I think it’s distracting, next time, I don’t think I’ll use the embossing folder, I will just use the die.

To put the butterflies together, I added a small amount of glue on the detailed butterfly and then adhered it to the “solid” butterfly. Once the butterflies were attached I cut the middle part of the butterfly using Green Garden cardstock and then glued it down the middle of the butterfly. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the butterfly but before I adhered it, I wanted to see where my sentiment needed to go.

I stamped my sentiment onto the Basic White rectangle using Fresh Freesia ink. Then, I adhered the rectangle to the front of the card. Next, I added the butterfly to the rectangle.

To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside and then added three Starburst Sequins to the front of the rectangle.

Measurements

  • Fresh Freesia cardstock: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″  score at 4-1/4″
  • Fresh Freesia cardstock (butterfly): approximately 4-1/2″ x 3-3/4″
  • Basic White cardstock (rectangle): approximately 5-1/4″ x 3-3/4″
  • Basic White cardstock (inside card): 5-1/4″ x 4″
  • Garden Green cardstock (the middle of the butterfly): scrap
  • Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper (detailed butterfly): appproximately 4-1/4″ x 3-1/4″

Wildflower Birthday Card

The card I’m sharing with you today was made using Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper, Wanted to Say Dies, Spotlight on Nature Dies and Party Dots

I started with Blueberry Bushel cardstock for the base of my card. Then, I added a piece of Wildflower Birthday Specialty DSP to Gold Foil and then adhered it to the front of the card.

I used the Spotlight on Nature Dies to cut a Basic White cardstock circle. Next, I adhered one of the premade die cuts in the Wildflower Birthday Specialty DSP to the front, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the card front.

I used the Wanted to Say Dies to cut the background piece in “Happy Birthday” in Blueberry Bushel cardstock. Then, I added an adhesive sheet to the back of a piece of Gold Foil (for the actual words “Happy Birthday”) and then ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I tore off the adhesive sheet and adhered it to the Blueberry Bushel background. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.

To complete my card I added three Party Dots in Pretty in Pink around the cake slice and added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card.

Another Sneak Peek of a Sale-a-Bration Product

Today I’m sharing a card I made using Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper (DSP) #164944. This DSP is a Sale-a-Bration product and when your order is $60 you can choose this paper and it will be FREE. Sale-a-Bration starts on January 7th and runs through February 28th. I made another card using Bloom Impressions DSP and you can see it here. To create my card I also used the Unbounded Love stamp set and Stylish Shapes Dies

I started with a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock for the base of my card. Then, I added a layer of Basic White to the front of the card. I cut another piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock and set it aside (you can find all the measurements I used below the Supply List).

Next, I cut Bloom Impressions DSP and then cut it into strips 3/4″ wide. I then glued the pieces to the Blackberry Bliss cardstock that I set aside and adhered it to the Basic White cardstock.

Then, I stamped my sentiment on Basic White cardstock in Blackberry Bliss ink using the stamp set, Unbounded Love. I cut it out with the Stylish Shapes Dies and then cut a larger circle out of Blackberry Bliss cardstock using the same dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card. To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.

Below you’ll find all the Stampin’ Up! supplies I used for today’s card. If you need any stamping supplies, I’d love to be your demonstrator! You can place an order by clicking any of the images below to go to my Stampin’ Up! online store.

Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper #164944 will be available on January 7, 2025 as a Sale-a-Bration free product with a $60 purchase.

Bundle Alert: The Unbounded Love Bundle is available with a 10% discount rather than buying the stamp set and dies separately.

  • Basic White cardstock (sentiment): scrap

Today I’m sharing a card that was made using Stampin’ Up! Country Woods Designer Series Paper, the Happiest Day stamp set and Everyday Details Dies. I struggle with making birthday cards for men but I think this would be perfect for a man!

To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card. This is optional.

Mystery Boxes

What’s a Mystery Box?

Please note:  I will temporarily stop sending out Mystery Boxes on July 30th. I just noticed that I had inadvertently said June 30th is when I would stop sending out Mystery Boxes and it should have been July 30th and I will extend it until the end of today, July 31st. I’ve corrected all the posts that say the wrong date. Is everyone feeling that this year is just screaming by??? I can’t keep track of the months!

A Mystery Box is filled with retired products that I’d like to give to a new home. I’ve been a demonstrator for 15 years so you can just imagine how much I have! I have Medium Rate Flat Rate USPS shipping boxes stuffed with retired Stampin’ Up! product. The boxes contain stamps, dies, ribbon, embellishments and more! The boxes are already sealed and every box will be different and a mystery as to what’s inside! The value of each box is well over $200.

All of the products in the Mystery Boxes have retired but some have never been used, some are used and all are “as is”. Some of the stamp sets are wood mount.

You can place an order HERE.

There are two ways to get a Mystery Box

  • Place a $125 or more order (before shipping/tax) at my Stampin’ Up! online store using the host code PNYBSJQ2 and I will send a Mystery Box to you as a free gift and I’ll even pay the postage! Using the host code will alert me that you want a Mystery Box. If your order is $150 or more, please DO NOT use the host code so you can receive Stampin’ Rewards (free product) directly from Stampin’ Up!. After you’ve placed your order (only if your order is $150 or more), please email me that you’d like a Mystery Box (click “Email Me” on the sidebar).
  • If you don’t want to place an order, you can purchase a Mystery Box for $80 plus $18.00 postage (postal rates have gone up and I had to raise the price). Email me that you want a box and I’ll send you a PayPal invoice (click “Email Me” on the sidebar).

More Information

  • You must use the host code PNYBSJQ2 when placing your order (if your order is over $150, do not use the host code – see above)
  • $125 order must be before tax/shipping amount
  • One box per order
  • Using the host code will let me know you want a Mystery Box
  • You’ll receive at least TWO Bradley Points with your order
  • No refunds or exchanges.
  • Each box will be different and a mystery! The boxes are already sealed up and I’m unable to take requests for the contents of the boxes.
  • Feel free to email me before placing an order to see if I have boxes available.

Stampin’ Up! Pocket Thoughts Bundle

Today’s card was made using the Pocket Thoughts Bundle which includes the Pocket Thoughts stamp set and the Pocket Thoughts Dies. I also used Thoughtful Designs 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper

I started with a base of Petunia Pop cardstock.  I made the pocket using the Pocket Thoughts Dies and Thoughtful Designs Designer Series Paper. I added Tear & Tape to the pocket edges and then adhered it to a piece of Basic White cardstock. Next, I added the entire piece to the front of the card.

I stamped the cupcake in Memento Black ink and then colored the cupcake using Stampin’ Blends:  Dark Lemon Lolly and both Light & Dark Petunia Pop. I cut the cupcake out using one of the circles in the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered it to the front of the pocket.

I stamped the sentiment in Petunia Pop ink onto Basic White cardstock using the Pocket Thoughts stamp set. I cut it out using a smaller circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it beside the cupcake.

I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock (you can find the measurements I used below) and used a hole punch to punch a hole at the top. Then, I put a piece of Silver & White ribbon through the hole and tied the ribbon off using White Baker’s Twine. After doing that, I trimmed the ends of the ribbon and twine. I adhered the gift card to the Basic White cardstock using Mini Glue Dots.

To complete my card I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card and added three Shimmer Gems around the cupcake and sentiment in Petunia Pop.

Bonus Days July 3-31

What are Bonus Days?

  • Earn a $5 coupon for every $50  spent (before shipping and tax).
  • All coupon codes will be emailed right after a qualifying purchase has been made. Customers must have a customer account with a valid email address to earn coupons when they shop. Be sure to set up an account before Bonus Days begin.
  • If a shopper earns multiple codes from a single order, they will receive one email with multiple codes. If they earn multiple codes from multiple orders, they will receive separate emails for each code earned. Be sure to save these codes because Stampin’ Up! cannot retrieve them for you!
  • There is no limit to the number of coupon codes shoppers can earn per order or throughout the duration of the earning period.
  • Customers must use a valid email address during checkout in order to receive their coupon code. If a customer places an order over the phone, they must still provide a valid email address to receive their coupon code.
  • Starter Kit orders are excluded from this offer. All other order types qualify.

 Redemption Period: 1–31 August 2024

  • There is no limit to the number of coupon codes shoppers can redeem on an order during the redemption period. If using multiple codes, they must be separated by a space.
  • Coupon codes may be redeemed one time only. They cannot be redeemed after August 31st.
  • Bonus Days coupon codes can be applied to month-to-month Paper Pumpkin subscriptions and new prepaid subscriptions.

Mystery Boxes

What’s a Mystery Box?

Please note:  I will temporarily be stopping sending out Mystery Boxes on July 30th.
