I find it very hard to resist making cards using the Dahlia Fold technique when I find a paper as beautiful as our Frosted Floral Designer Series Paper. You may remember this card that I shared back in September using another sheet from this package of paper. If you’d like to create the flower, the video below will walk you through it (or you can click here). It may look difficult but it really isn’t!  You’ll need a 1-3/4″ Circle Punch to create 8 circles and a 2″ punch to create a base for the flower. Then you’ll start folding!

I used Pear Pizzazz cardstock for the base of the card and for the scalloped oval the sentiment sits on (made using the Layering Ovals Framelits). The oval for the sentiment was made using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  The sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy Ink using the stamp set, Wishing You Well.  The Tufted Embossing Folder was used to create the beautiful impression on the Whisper White background.

If you give the Dahlia Fold a try, I’d LOVE to see your creation!
