When you create your own cards, sometimes they won’t fit into a standard envelope.  That’s never a worry with the Envelope Punch Board! You can create any size envelope to fit your creation.  Measure your card and then check the chart located right on the Envelope Punch Board and you’ll know the size your paper needs to be and where to score your paper.

I needed an envelope for a gift certificate that measured  5″ x 5″ so I pulled out my Envelope Punch Board. and made a custom envelope.  According to the chart above, I needed to cut my Foil Frenzy Designer Series Paper to 8 1/8″ x 8 1/8″  and score the paper at 4-1/8″.  At the end of my post, you’ll find a great video from Stampin’ Up! showing how easy it is to make an envelope!

Instead of using adhesive to close the envelope, I made a belly band. To cover up the area where the two ends of the belly band met, I attached my sentiment.  The Night of Navy layer was cut out using the new Starburst punch and the other two layers were made with the Layering Circles Framelits.  The sentiment is from the stamp set Beautiful Bouquet.   I made a bow using Linen Thread and attached it to the front with glue dots.

Here’s another version without a belly band but uses ribbon around the envelope.
