Stampin’ Up! Brights Designer Series Paper

Today’s card features Brights 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, Blueberry Bunches stamp set and the Spotlight on Nature Dies. I have to give credit to Jackie Bolhuis for this layout. You can see the beautiful cards she made here using this layout (scroll down on her site).

I started with a piece of Azure Afternoon cardstock for the base of my card (you can see the measurements I used below the Supply List). Next, I cut two pieces of Brights Designer Series Paper and adhered one to the front of the card and the other to the inside. I also adhered a piece of Basic White to the inside, too.

I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock in Azure Afternoon ink using the Blueberry Bunches stamp set. I then cut it out using the Spotlight on Nature Dies. I adhered the sentiment to a larger circle using Azure Afternoon cardstock and the Spotlight on Nature Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back (only on the top part) and placed it on the card.

Mystery Boxes

What’s a Mystery Box?

Please note:  I will temporarily stop sending out Mystery Boxes on July 30th.

A Mystery Box is filled with retired products that I’d like to give to a new home. I’ve been a demonstrator for 15 years so you can just imagine how much I have! I have Medium Rate Flat Rate USPS shipping boxes stuffed with retired Stampin’ Up! product. The boxes contain stamps, dies, ribbon, embellishments and more! The boxes are already sealed and every box will be different and a mystery as to what’s inside! The value of each box is well over $200.

All of the products in the Mystery Boxes have retired but some have never been used, some are used and all are “as is”. Some of the stamp sets are wood mount.

You can place an order HERE.

There are two ways to get a Mystery Box

  • Place a $125 or more order (before shipping/tax) at my Stampin’ Up! online store using the host code PNYBSJQ2 and I will send a Mystery Box to you as a free gift and I’ll even pay the postage! Using the host code will alert me that you want a Mystery Box. If your order is $150 or more, please DO NOT use the host code so you can receive Stampin’ Rewards (free product) directly from Stampin’ Up!. After you’ve placed your order (only if your order is $150 or more), please email me that you’d like a Mystery Box (click “Email Me” on the sidebar).
  • If you don’t want to place an order, you can purchase a Mystery Box for $80 plus $18.00 postage (postal rates have gone up and I had to raise the price). Email me that you want a box and I’ll send you a PayPal invoice (click “Email Me” on the sidebar).

More Information

  • You must use the host code PNYBSJQ2 when placing your order (if your order is over $150, do not use the host code – see above)
  • $125 order must be before tax/shipping amount
  • One box per order
  • Using the host code will let me know you want a Mystery Box
  • You’ll receive at least TWO Bradley Points with your order
  • No refunds or exchanges.
  • Each box will be different and a mystery! The boxes are already sealed up and I’m unable to take requests for the contents of the boxes.
  • Feel free to email me before placing an order to see if I have boxes available.

Stampin’ Up! Sweetest Cherries

I love cherries and where we lived before the house we live in now, we used to go cherry picking. It was so much fun! Now, we have a blueberry farm nearby and each spring we pick blueberries which means blueberry pie! Anyway, today’s post is all about cherries. I used the Sweetest Cherries stamp set and the Cherry Builder Punch to create today’s card.

I started with Sweet Sorbet cardstock for the base of my card. Then, I added a strip of Brights 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (you can find the measurements below the Supply List). Next, I stamped the word “sweet” in Sweet Sorbet ink and “friend” in Memento ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock. I used my Stamparatus (retired) to get a good solid image for the words and cherries. Since Stampin’ Up! no longer carries the Stamparatus and you weren’t able to get one, you can find a similar product here. I owned a Misti before I purchased the Stamparatus and it’s an excellent product.

I adhered the sentiment piece to a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock.

I stamped the cherries in Sweet Sorbet ink and then punched them out with the Cherry Builder punch. I also used the punch to cut two stems out of Early Espresso cardstock and two leaves out of Granny Apple Green cardstock. I adhered the cherries, stems and leaves in between the two words and then added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.

To complete my card, I added three 2022-2024 In Color Pearls to the front of the card and added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.
