Today’s card features the Cottage Wreaths Bundle which includes the Cottage Wreaths stamp set and the Country Wreaths Dies. Yesterday I shared another card using this bundle and you can see it here if you missed it.
I started with a piece of Soft Succulent cardstock for the base of my card. Then I added a layer of Basic White cardstock after embossing it using the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
I stamped the wreath from the Cottage Wreaths stamp set in Soft Succulent ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock and cut it out using the Country Wreaths Dies. Next, I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut a piece of Basic White cardstock. I laid the wreath on top of the square so I could see where I wanted to stamp my sentiment and then stamped it in Cajun Craze ink using the Cottage Wreaths stamp set.
I layered the Basic White square onto a piece of Soft Succulent cardstock, added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card. I also added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the wreath and placed it on the stitched square.
I used the Country Wreaths Dies to cut the bow out of Cajun Craze cardstock. I added some Multipurpose Glue to the back and placed it on the wreath and added a Iridescent Pearl to the center. To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.

Today’s card features the Cottage Wreaths Bundle which includes the Cottage Wreath stamp set and the Country Wreaths Dies.
I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock for the card base. Then I added a layer of Basic Black cardstock and Paper Pumpkin cardstock that I embossed using the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder. Next, I added a layer of Basic Black cardstock with a piece of Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper (this package includes 48 sheets). I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered this layer to the front of the card.
I used the Country Wreaths Dies to cut a wreath out of Basic Black cardstock and another out of the same design of Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper that I used for the previous layer. I glued the two pieces together using Multipurpose Glue and then adhered the wreath to a scalloped circle that I cut out of Basic White cardstock using the Layering Circles Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it the front of the card.
I used the Cottage Wreath stamp set to stamp “Boo” onto a piece of Basic White cardstock in Memento ink and then cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I added two Stampin’ Dimensionals in the middle of the banner and adhered it in the center of the wreath. To complete my card, I added two Matte Black Dots to either side of the sentiment.

Today is Day 2 of showcasing Stampin’ Up! Basic Borders Dies. If you missed yesterday’s card, you can see it here.
Yesterday I found out that the Aspen Tree Dies – a Sale-a-Bration gift with a $100 purchase – are on the Low Inventory list. More stock will be coming in but when, I can’t say. If you’ve had your eye on these dies or the Perched in a Tree Bundle, grab them while you can!
The Aspen Tree Dies can be purchased in three ways:
Please note: The free Sale-a-Bration option has a different product number than if you were to purchase the dies. If you are choosing the free option, be sure to use the Sale-a-Bration product number. Please see the different item numbers above.
I had planned to space my three cards throughout the week but I’m sharing them today just in case they are out of stock soon! This first card was made with Rings of Love Designer Series Paper, a Sale-a-Bration gift with a $50 purchase.
I started with a piece of Thick Basic White cardstock and then used the Basic Borders Dies to cut the bottom into a V-shape. Then I added a piece of Rings of Love Designer Series Paper to the inside. Next, I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink using the stamp set, Cottage Wreaths.
I placed a piece of Basic White cardstock inside the Twigs & Sprigs Embossing Folder and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Then I adhered it to the front of the card.
I used Memento ink to stamp the bird and branch onto Basic White cardstock using the stamp set, Perched in a Tree (this coordinates with the Aspen Tree Dies). Then I colored the bird using these Stampin’ Blends: Night of Navy (Light and Dark), Daffodil Delight (Light and Dark). I used the Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend for the branch and the bird’s beak and feet. I also used the Stampin’ Blends Color Lifter on the bird’s belly. I then adhered the bird and branch to the front of the card.
For this next card, I didn’t use Designer Series Paper but chose to use embossed paper for both the inside and front of the card. I also made the front embossed piece a little bit longer than on the previous card.
I used all the same products but for this card, I used a Dark Soft Suede Stampin’ Blend for the branch and the bird’s feet and beak.
For this next card, I used another design from Rings of Love Designer Series Paper.
I cut a piece of 4″ x 3- 3/4″ piece of Rings of Love Designer Series Paper and placed one of the Basic Borders Dies from the top right corner to the bottom left corner to create the shape. I started with a piece of Early Espresso cardstock and then added a layer of Crushed Curry cardstock that I ran through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the Twigs & Sprigs Embossing Folder. Then I adhered the shape I made with the Basic Borders Dies.
Next, I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink onto Basic White cardstock using the stamp set, Charming Sentiments. I cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies (currently out of stock but estimated to be available again the week of September 19th). I cut a larger circle out of Early Espresso and layered the two pieces together. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the front of the card.
I used the Aspen Tree Dies to cut two small leaves out of Crushed Curry & Poppy Parade cardstock and then adhered them above the sentiment. To complete my card, I added three Brushed Metallic Dots.
