Swallowtail Revisited

Love my Swallowtail stamp! You can see the card I did with a Midnight Muse butterfly HERE.  On today’s card I used Gumball Green with Midnight Muse card stock as my base and mat along with a  sheet from the Print Poetry Designer Series Pack. This stamp is in the Spring Catalog and there’s no guarantee that it will be in the new catalog.  If you love it, I would pick it up now!!

The RETIRING LIST comes out on Wednesday!  Stampin’ Up! will let us know all the sets that will not be returning in the new catalog.  I am hoping my favorites stay but am really excited to see what new things are in store for us!

Have a great day!

Make a Wish

I love cards that remind me of handmade quilts which is why this card was so much fun to make.  I punched squares with the Sprinkles and Sunshine Designer Series Paper using my Postage Stamp punch.  My pinwheel center is a flattened Soda Pop Top (love these). I punched a heart using the Owl Builder punch, placed it in the center and added Crystal Effects to make it nice and shiny! I can’t wait to try using different papers with this pattern! This is another card inspired by Maggie Patterson and Ronda Wade.

Horse Frontier

This beautiful card was made by a member of my downline, Linda Wheelock.  She used the stamp set Horse Frontier which is a set that I don’t own so I’m glad that I can show you such a gorgeous card using it. Linda used a new Designer Series paper from the Spring Catalog called Parker’s Patterns. The Labels Collection Framelits were used to frame the horse and the sentiment on the inside. She also used the Houndstooth Embossing folder.  The button is the only product on her card that isn’t Stampin’ Up!

Mini Album

Here’s another project we made last week at my Customer Reward Extravaganza.  I made my album with pictures of my sweet granddaughter, Audrey.

The album base is Marina Mist cardstock and I used Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper to decorate the front and some of the inside panels.   My Big Shot dies were used to make my Rich Razzleberry mats for my pictures:  3 1/2″ Circle Die, Scallop Circle Bigz and Scallop Square Bigz Clear die.  A belly band around the album keeps it closed.  It is small enough to tuck into your purse and carry it around with you!

Petite Pocket Die

I’ve had the Petite Pocket Die since it first came out and this is the first time I’ve used it.  Why did I wait so long??
I used the die to create a holder for one of our Stampin’ Write markers and gave one to each of my Customer Reward Extravaganza attendees last Saturday.  I ran it through my Big Shot with the Fancy Fan embossing folder and assembled it with a two-way glue pen.  I wrapped  a paper doily (in the Spring catalog) around the pocket and then finished it off with our new 1 1/4″ Two-Tone ribbon.  My sentiment is included in the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit in the Spring Catalog. I punched it out with the Ticket Duo Builder punch and adhered it with a glue dot.
