I’ve been gone too long! The last month has had some challenges and I wasn’t able to sit and create, at all. I have a Big Shot class on Tuesday so I spent yesterday creating some projects. This is one of them using the cute new owl punch. It is so much fun to use and the little owl will always look different with every card you make! I used the Scallop Square Bigz die. The white part of the card lifts up and sits on the square scallop. I got the inspiration for this design from Andrea Walford’s blog. I also used the square lattice embossing folder. I like the look but sometimes when I use that folder my project doesn’t lay as flat as I would like but it sure is cute. The sentiment is from one of the level 2 Hostess stamp sets called Apple Blossom.

Here is a card I made several weeks ago for a workshop. It uses the Island Oasis Designer Paper from the Summer Mini. I love this paper and will be sad when it goes away on August 31st. The stamp set I used was Tropical Party. It is a very quick and easy card to make except that you have to cut the flowers out which really goes pretty quickly. Here is another “box” using the Fancy Favor die. This time I attached a flower to it that I made with the Circle Scallop punch. I’ve seen these flowers on numerous blogs but I am not quite sure where I found the tutorial. I always like to give credit where it is due but I truly don’t remember where I found this. The paper that I used can’t be purchased after today but truly it would look cute with any paper. Stampin’ Ups paper is two sided so that makes it very easy to get different looks. I love my Big Shot!
