Stampin’ Up! Moroccan Designer Series Paper

Happy Saturday!

I have another card using the Sale-A-Bration stamp set, So Very Much (you can get it absolutely FREE with a $50 purchase).  I posted the card below in early January and both cards use the gorgeous  Stampin’ Up! Moroccan Designer Series Paper.  This paper makes it so easy to make a quick, but cute card! The DSP and sentiment do all the work!

#141645 $11.00

It is extremely hard to see the pattern of the paper I used in today’s card from the picture above but it is the one that looks like solid green but if you look closely, you can see the pattern.

Stampin’ Up! Avant Garden

The other day I had a chance to play around with the Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Avant Garden and this is the card I created!  The flowers were stamped using Bermuda Bay and Pacific Point ink.  It’s kind of a funny story, but when I was making my card, I really wasn’t sure what those little green things were that I placed around the flowers.  The other day I saw another stamper’s card and she used them as stamens! Oh, yeah, that makes sense!  Hope they look ok the way I placed them!

I stamped my sentiment, which also comes from this set onto Whisper White cardstock and then cut it out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  It is adhered to the next bigger size circle in this set using Bermuda Bay and has dimensionals on the back to give a bit of dimension to the card!

This stamp set is free with a $50 before shipping and tax until March 31, 2017.  Place your $50 order online and this set can be yours!  Click here to see all of the Sale-A-Bration choices!

Stampin’ Up! Party Animal & Tasty Treats

When I’m creating cards/projects for a class, I make many different samples and then decide which ones to use.  Today I have two cards that didn’t make the cut in my Happy Birthday Class To Go.   I used the stamp set Balloon Adventures for both cards and the measurements for the cardstock and paper are the same.

All of my butterflies have a piece of vellum on top and I secured it to the cardstock/DSP with glue dots.  The rhinestones are in the perfect place to hide the dots.  Each butterfly has a small piece of Stampin’ Dimensional on the back to give it some height.

Base of card:  8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″  score @ 4-1/4″

Designer Series Paper:  5-1/4″ x 4″

Cardstock panel:  4-1/4 ” x  2-3/4″

Sentiment panel:  4″ x 2-1/2″

The first card uses Stampin’ Up! Party Animal Designer Series Paper and the second one, Tasty Treats. All of the supplies used in making these cards are Stampin’ Up!.  They are listed below along with their item number and price.  When you click on the products you’ll be taken to that item in my Stampin’ Up! online store.   If you have any questions about either card, don’t hesitate to contact me!

Stampin’ Up! Stylish Stems Framelits and Sponging

If my card today looks very familiar, it’s because it has many of the same elements of the card I posted yesterday.  While the one yesterday had a watercoloring panel behind the flower, this time I did sponging with Stampin’ Sponges, Whisper White cardstock and  Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight stamp pads.  There’s a definite learning curve, at least for me, with the sponging technique. I love the look but wasn’t happy AT ALL with what I created below.  But you know what?  I think it looks great behind the flower!  Until then, I will keep on trying this technique until I’m great at it!

The ribbon I used is from the 3/8″ Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack.  It’s a Sale-A-Bration freebie.  You get 2 rolls,  silver and gold, and it’s gorgeous in person as it has beautiful gold and silver accents woven in.  Place a $50 order, before shipping and handling, and you can choose this ribbon as your free gift!

The sentiment is from the stamp set Window Shopping in the Occasions catalog and it’s stamped using Memento Ink.   I tried to center it on my card but it seemed off a bit so I thought the rhinestones might distract from that.  Did it work??

All of the supplies I used are listed below.  Please note that I did NOT use the Framelits with the Window Shopping stamp set but it is part of a bundle and a 10% discount.  I’m noting it in the product list in case you are interested in purchasing both of them.
