Amazingly Amazing

painted petals rose red

My card today uses several more stamps from the stamp set Painted Petals. I practiced stamping the flowers on my grid paper.  I tried stamping the flowers then the stems but then I tried stems first and then the flowers which worked better for me.  I read where another demo cut her flowers apart so that she could have a little more versatility with that particular stamp.  I’m still trying to decide if I would like to do that! I’m leaning towards getting my scissors out!

My sentiment is also included in this set (there are three sentiments altogether in this set).  I’ve had so much fun with this stamp set.

My supplies are listed below and clicking on any of the pictures will take you directly to my online store.

Have a great day!

Another Joy Fold Card

joy fold blue

Today I have another Joy Fold card.  This time I embossed my side panels with Daffodil Delight cardstock instead of using Designer Series paper.  I did use the Painted Petals stamp set again and used my Pacific Point and Garden Green stamp pads.  To get the look of two different colors of blue, some of my flowers are stamped directly from the stamp pad to my paper while others are stamped onto my grid paper first and then applied to my paper.  This technique is called stamping off.  I couldn’t resist using the one of the beautiful Something Borrowed Embellishments.  If you didn’t see my post from Monday, click here to see how the card opens up.
