Last week I needed several thank you cards so I made them very similar but different. I stamped my white paper pretty much the same but I changed each card up with different colors of cardstock. This one uses Cajun Craze and Old Olive. The set is French Foliage, which I never get tired of using. I hope my recipient enjoyed the card! I’ll post another one tomorrow! Enjoy your day!

Today I have another card for you that we made at my Hostess Clubs last week. I think this card is so pretty in person! The leaves were embossed with clear embossing powder using the large flower in Betsy’s Blossoms. I learned this technique at the Stampin’ Up! Conference from our co-founder Shelli Gardner (stamping an image with a stamp and then cutting it out with a different punch or die). Then I used my Autumn Accents die, cut them out and popped them up with dimensionals. Several of my stamp club attendees commented that they they liked the size of the card (7 x 3 1/4)! I too enjoy a card that isn’t the traditional size. My greeting is from Sweet Essentials.

Today is Election Day! I voted last week (I actually always do an absentee ballot).
I love this card! Normally I don’t care for a card that is all one color of cardstock but this one is so pretty in Crumb Cake. I think the little bit of glitter on the pine needles finishes the card perfectly! I visited Dawn Olchefske’s site and just had to CASE her card. I have a few minor changes. I passed this stamp set up – Watercolor Winter – but it is fast becoming a favorite of mine! The stamp set that I used for my sentiment is Greetings of the Season. (Oops, sometimes even after editing numerous times we don’t see mistakes until we’ve read something the tenth time! I meant to say that Watercolor Winter “didn’t speak to me” at first but after seeing so many beautiful cards made with it, I just had to have it!!)
