Sunflowers

Here is a card I made using the Sweet Treat cups. Sorry if it is a little hard to see on the white background. I found the idea for this card from Mary Fish who does beautiful work. You can see her card here. I just changed a few things. She uses the small and large oval punch but I only had the large oval. I think it turned out nice. Next time I will sponge the petals a little bit more. I have never liked the look of sponging but after this card I am definitely hooked and will keep trying it out.
Sale-a-bration is almost over! You have until March 31st to earn free products with your $50 order. If you would like to place an order, please email me or go directly to my Stampin’ Up! website. Thanks for looking today!

This is another card I made to swap in Reno. It is the same card I made several days ago but I used different colors (Chocolate Chip and Real Red). I finished the cards up in my hotel room and propped it up on my bed so I could take a picture of it! This stamp set is called Happy Together and I think it is one of my new favorites.
Yesterday I attended my first Stampin’ Up! Regional Seminar in Reno. This is one of the cards I brought to swap with other Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. I had a great time being in a room full of people who love to create cards and papercrafts as much as I do. I received many beautiful cards and have many new ideas that I want to try out when I get home!
I truly love my Big Shot and used it for a lot of my card. It is a big purchase but so worth it. I also own another machine that is not a Stampin’ Up product but it can’t emboss as the Big Shot machine does which is why I turn to it again and again. For this card I used the Polka Dot embossing folder and the Embosslit die Simple Flower. I will post the other products I used on the card when I get home!
Thanks for stopping by!
