Retiring Lists Are Out!

Stampin’ Up! has released all of the products that will be retiring from both the Annual and Mini Catalogs. Everything is while supplies last!  Please be aware of several things:

  •  All bundles in both catalogs are available while supplies last but the products in the bundles are not necessarily retiring (when you purchase bundles, you save 10%).  For instance, the Under My Umbrella Bundle is retiring but both products in the bundle are not retiring and will be in the new Annual Catalog.  The Honey Bee Bundle is retiring AND both of the products in the bundle are retiring.

  •  You’ll see that our Stampin’ Blends are also on the retiring list BUT THEY ARE NOT RETIRING.  They are just being reconfigured in the new catalog.  From what I can see, they will no longer be offered individually but only as a combo pack in the new catalog.

  •  Everything is while supplies last except for stamp sets. Due to high demand, retiring stamp sets will have guaranteed availability until May 22, 2020; all other products are not guaranteed and are only available while supplies last!

  • Usually outgoing In Color products fly off the shelves so 2018-2020 In Color products will be the first items to go!

  • If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!

Thank You

Several weeks ago I shared that I would be taking a break from my blog because my mother-in-law was ill. On April 16th, Patricia peacefully passed away with my husband by her side. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 restrictions, the rest of the family could not be with her (her illness was not COVID-19 related) nor could hospice.

Thank you so much for the incredible support and heartfelt comments and emails.  I read each and every one and was very, very touched. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I’m looking forward to getting back into my craft room and hope to start sharing projects with you soon! Later today Stampin’ Up! will be releasing a list of all the products retiring from both the Annual Catalog and Mini Catalog.  Once I have access to the list(s), I will post again today so you can see that information.

Take Care.

Update

Hello Friends,

Thank you for visiting my blog. I’m sorry but I don’t have anything new to share with you today, You may have noticed that I’ve been showing up here and there in the last week.  I’m a pretty private person but rather than just disappear for a while, I want to be honest and say that I will continue to show up sporadically for a while. Last week my mother in law, Pat, was taken to the ER (not COVID-19 related).  She is back home but with hospice. My husband is with her but with COVID-19 restrictions and concerns, the rest of the family is not which is heartbreaking.

I’m trying to stay busy and creating cards is a wonderful way to relieve stress but finding joy right now is difficult.

Stay safe and healthy and hug your loved ones.

Seaside Spray Flowering Foils

Seaside Spray Stampin Up

Before sharing my card with you today, I want to let you know that starting tomorrow, March 24th, a selection of current catalog items will be available to earn through Sale-a-Bration. Those are the only details I have but be sure to check back tomorrow to see what’s being offered!

Today’s card was created using one of the designs in Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper.  All of the designs in the package can stand alone but changing up the look is really fun! I used a Light Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blend to color in all the flower petals. Imagine all the possibilities! The very best part? This paper is free with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration, while supplies last!

The base of the card is Thick Whisper White with a layer of regular Whisper White on top that was embossed using the Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder and a die-cutting machine.  After coloring the Flowering Foils paper, I adhered it to a piece of Seaside Spray and wrapped a piece of Silver-Metallic Edge Ribbon around the entire piece.  Then I adhered it to the base of the card using Multipurpose Glue.

The sentiment was stamped onto Whisper White cardstock using Seaside Spray ink and then cut out with the Stitched Shapes Dies. Using the Layering Ovals Dies, I cut a scalloped oval in Seaside Spray and then a larger one in Silver Foil.  I layered all the pieces together using Snail adhesive and then added Stampin’ Diensionals to the back and attached it to the front of the card.

Tomorrow I’ll have a free PDF Tutorial for today’s card but if you want to give it a try today, I’ve included the measurements below the Supply List.

Take good care of yourself!
