Snowflake Jar

Snowflake Jar IMG_0754_edited-1 Jar Front

I’m sure you know someone that you would like to give a little treat to.  This is a fun way to wrap it up!  The canning jar is oversized and so I was able to fit an entire bag of Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark squares inside.  The first thing I did was to wrap a piece of Washi Tape around the outside of the jar. My snowflakes were made with the stamp set Festive Flurry and cut out with the matching Festive Flurry Framelits Dies.  Some of the snowflakes were not stamped but just cut out with the Framelits and Silver Glimmer paper. I used dimensionals on each snowflake as I stacked them on top of each other. When I wrote the name on the top it seemed a bit plain so I used the little snowflake in the set Snow Day first.  I inked up the stamp, stamped on my grid paper and then onto my circle.  If you decide to make any of these, I would LOVE to receive an email from you and see what you’ve created!

Thank you for stopping by!

As promised, here is another card using the stamp set Ornament Keepsakes and the matching Framelits (on sale until December 2nd).  My inspiration came from Deena Boos.  Her card used shades of blue and I decided to use traditional Christmas colors.   This is another card that can be made quickly especially when using your Framelits to cut the ornaments.

All Time Favorite

If you’ve been following my blog for quite some time you might recognize this card.  I posted it last December and I have to say that it is one of my favorite holiday cards.  It is easy to make and very elegant looking. It uses several sets on the Carryover list (you won’t find them in any of the catalogs).  I embossed the ornament with Silver Embossing Powder using the stamp set Ornament Keepsakes.  I cut the ornament out with the Framelits, which are on sale during our Holiday Sale!  My sentiment is from the set Greetings of the Season.  I popped up my ornament with several Stampin’ Dimensionals and used one to also adhere my Baker’s Twine underneath my ribbon. Tomorrow I will have another card for you using this same stamp set and Framelits!Embossing Magic

Snowflake Present

Snowflake Present

I have another card for you using the present template.  This time I used the Northern Flurry embossing folder.  My Hostess Club made this card and I brought many different embossing folders for them to choose from. This was the one that most of them used on their card.  My sentiment is from the stamp set That’s the Ticket.  I tucked it under the bow with a Stampin’ Dimensional on each end.

That's the TicketIf you make a card like this, I would love to see what you’ve created!

Screen Shot 2013-11-20 at 3.17.08 PMIt’s hard to tell in the photo, but I also used a silver Foil Sheet (#132178 $3.98) as one of the mats.   If you would like to purchase any of these items to create this card, use the Hostess Code  below to be entered in my Holiday Sale drawing to win Hostess Benefits.  This code is good until December 2nd:

Christmas Star

Christmas Blessings StarWhat an elegant looking card this is!  I stamped the star with Versamark and then sprinkled silver embossing powder over it and heat set it with my heat gun.  So pretty!  I hadn’t planned to stamp my little snowflakes but a smudge of ink got on the card.  The snowflakes completely covered it up.  I think they are a nice addition!  The star is one of our single stamps and will be available until January 31, 2014. My greeting is from the set Special Season in the Holiday Catalog.

Weekly Deals

It’s Tuesday and time for some new Weekly Deals!!

Weekly DealsIf you would like to purchase any of these items, you can visit my online store or email me!

Holly Jolly Present

Holly Jolly PresentHave you had a chance to use our new Foil sheets yet? You have the choice of gold or silver and you receive (2) 12×12 single-sided sheets.  They can be cut with the Big Shot or punches.  I used the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder to create my present-like card.  It was very simple to put together and the shine makes it look so pretty (definitely a bit hard to tell in the picture).  The base of my card is Cherry Cobbler and I “wrapped it up” with our beautiful white organza ribbon. My greeting is from the set Tags 4 You and I punched it out with the Label Bracket Punch. I adhered my bow with Glue Dots.  Easy!  I have to give Jackie Topa credit for this idea.  Her card used the Gold Foil sheets and I knew immediately that I wanted to give the card a try.  I’ve made several more with different embossing folders and will show those throughout the week!

Happy Stamping!

Merry Snowman #2

Snowman 2Yesterday I mentioned that I would show another version of my snowman card.  Instead of cutting him out, I stamped him directly onto my cardstock.  Which one do you like better?
