I know that Christmas has come and gone but just wanted to share these little bags I made to put Xmas candy in. I made them very quickly and if I had more time I would have “decorated” the fronts. The red one uses flocked paper which you can still purchase but only until January 4th. It could even be used on a Valentines Day card. The paper can be found on page 21 in the Holiday Mini catalog. I made this little bag yesterday using the Stampin’ Up! Bigz XL Fancy Favor die. I’ve had it for a few months but this was the first time I used it. It is made with Merry Moments Designer paper. I made the handle out of cardstock and attached it using my Crop-A-Dile, which by the way, is a very fun little gadget! The bag is stuffed with York Peppermint patties. YUM!

Here is a card that was pretty quick and easy using the Dasher stamp which is on the very last page of the Idea Book and Catalog. I also used Christmas Cocoa Designer Series paper in the Holiday Mini Catalog. If you like this paper, you can only order it until January 4th! I’m not sure if you can see the Dazzling Diamonds on Dasher’s antlers but if you click on the image, you will be able to see it close up! Thanks for stopping by!

It feels good to be posting again. My dad passed away on October 2nd. Losing my father has been one of the hardest things I’ve had to deal with. His health had been declining for quite some time but imagining life without him was something I just pushed away because it was too hard to deal with. Life won’t be the same without my wonderful father. It has been hard to get back into stamping but I am ready. I hope to start creating and posting real soon. Thank you for visiting!

I just finished making this card tonight. I got a chance to use my Big Shot and that is always fun. I found the inspiration for this card on Patty Bennett’s site but the card was actually made by Barb Thomas. If you would like to see the original, click here and scroll down. I knew that I wanted to use different colors and you wouldn’t believe how long it took me to decide what colors I wanted and what went together. I’m happy with it and think I would like to try some other combinations as well. I love the Stampin’ Up! punches and you will find that I always use at least one for every project I do. For this card I actually used four of them!
Here are the supplies I used:
Paper: Garden Green, Lovely Lilac and Brilliant Blue cardstock, Flock Together Designer Series Paper

I just finished making this card tonight and am going to give it to a friend for her birthday tomorrow. I saw this idea at Andrea Walford’s site. She has so many wonderful ideas on her site and I check it daily. I made a few minor changes to the card but if you would like to see her version as well as a video tutorial, visit Andrea’s site

This card is supposed to resemble a matchbook, don’t know if you can tell by the pictures. There are two staples at the bottom but I covered those because I didn’t want to stamp my sentiment directly on the cardstock. I used an envelope inside to place the gift card into.
