I don’t usually give cards on Halloween but I do like to give treats that are packaged in a cute way. I wanted a box that would fit a mini package of Rolos and this is the box I created.
The base of the box is made with Basic Black and the cover that wraps around is Happy Haunting DSP. I just purchased the Subtle Stripes Satin Ribbon – what was I waiting for??? It is absolutely gorgeous. It’s a little hard to tell in the photo but my sentiment sits on top of our Black Glimmer paper.
Watch the video to see how to create this box!
If you place a minimum $25 order this month using the host code – GU6J472B– at my Stampin’ Up! online store, I’ll send you the materials to make this kit along with two other projects. You’ll just need to provide your own ink, adhesive and stamps. Click here for more details!
Stampin’ Up! catalogs are not only filled with lots and lots of products but there are card and project ideas on every page! My project today was inspired by the treat holders on page 46 in the Holiday Catalog.
Below you’ll find a video on how to make the Lollipop Treat Holder. I used See’s lollipops but you could add a little bag of goodies or a small candy bar.
To make the holder I used a piece of Into the Woods DSP measuring 2″ x 8-1/2″. At the end of the video I mention that I will send a kit out to one person with the supplies to make the holder (lollipop not included and I cannot send stamped images per Stampin’ Up! policy). All you have to do is leave a comment and I’ll announce the winner on Sunday!

The Holiday Catalog goes live next Tuesday, September 1st, but today I have a sneak peek of four new products in this gem of a catalog! Can you guess what’s new?
Spider Web Doilies
BLACK Glimmer Paper
A Little Something stamp set
Softly Falling Embossing Folder – It is meant to be used as snow but I think it looks just fine on my Halloween card
I started out with my two favorite color combinations for Halloween – Elegant Eggplant and Pumpkin Pie. To adhere my layers together, I used our Liquid Multipurpose Glue. I’ve started using it more and more because it gives me a little bit of time to make sure that my layers are straight. I wanted my pumpkins orange on the sentiment so I used my Stampin’ Write markers to color it. The Black Glimmer Paper is so pretty and sparkly!! Lately I seem to finish every projects with several rhinestones and this one was no exception!
I can’t add our new products in my list below until they go live on Wednesday but below you will find the products that are available now. For more info or to place an order, click on any picture below.
