The Countdown is On!
Sale-a-bration is the most anticipated time of the Stampin’ Up! year and it’s almost over. There are 21 more days to go BUT, all of the Sale-a-bration gifts are while supplies last! I placed an order earlier this week and it arrived yesterday. My free gift was the Glimmer Paper. Oh my, but it is GORGEOUS! If you like glitter and sparkle, you will love it! My card today uses the Sale-a-bration gift, Avant Garden and the sentiment comes from the set All Things Thanks. I actually stamped the flower and stem weeks ago and it’s been sitting on my craft table because I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do with it. Because Sale-a-bration is almost over, I was spurred into action to create and I’m happy with the simplicity of it.
As I mentioned above, I used All Things Thanks for my sentiment. I used the middle sentiment that says “thanks for joining us.” I just wanted the word thanks for my card so I used my Rose Red Stampin’ Write marker and just colored the part I wanted. You do have to be careful that you don’t touch any of the other letters while doing this but it’s a great way to get more mileage out of a stamp set.
