I don’t usually give cards on Halloween but I do like to give treats that are packaged in a cute way. I wanted a box that would fit a mini package of Rolos and this is the box I created.
The base of the box is made with Basic Black and the cover that wraps around is Happy Haunting DSP. I just purchased the Subtle Stripes Satin Ribbon – what was I waiting for??? It is absolutely gorgeous. It’s a little hard to tell in the photo but my sentiment sits on top of our Black Glimmer paper.

Using the Square Pillow Box Thinlits Dies makes this a very quick project to put together. I placed a window sheet across the opening of the box because isn’t it fun to get a glimpse of what’s inside? The “window” is included in the die set! I placed a glue dot on each corner of the window sheet which will keep it firmly in place. I used the stamp set Cheer All Year to stamp my bat which I then fussy cut as we don’t have a punch or thinlit for him (I wish we did). Using a purple Sharpie, I colored two rhinestones for his eyes.
