Itty Bitty Boxes

For the past several days I’ve shared cards I swapped at OnStage and today I have a little box I made to give to several friends who also attended. Making boxes might seem a bit intimidating but they’re really pretty easy. The hard part is figuring out the dimensions to make your box but I’ve done that for you!

I filled the boxes with a Vaseline Lip Balm. I always have some sort of lip balm or chapstick in my purse or near my computer. I shared this box back in July and made a video to go with it that you can see here. It’s the same exact box and you can change up the paper for any occasion. It’s a small box so earrings would fit inside or a small treat.

To make my boxes I used Thick Whisper White cardstock for the bottom of the box. This is a very heavy cardstock and it’s perfect for making a sturdy box. I used our Brights 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper for the top of the box and used the colors Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Gorgeous Grape.

I used two different ribbons to wrap the boxes. For the Gorgeous Grape box, I used our 1/4″ Mini Striped Ribbon in Gorgeous Grape. For the other three boxes, I used our 5/8″ Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon in Whisper White. The sentiment is from the stamp set Itty Bitty Greetings which includes 32 different stamps and they’re all super small, which was just perfect for my box. After stamping the sentiment, I punched it out with the Classic Label Punch. I like using this punch because even if I stamped the sentiment crooked on my Whisper White paper, I can make it perfectly straight when I punch it out. After I punched it, I cut one end off because I didn’t need it that long. I added a glue dot on the back and tucked it under the ribbon. I finished it off with a sparkly rhinestone!
