It’s 2018! Remember when we thought 2000 sounded so weird and now here we are, eighteen years later. Wow! I feel that the older I get, the faster time flies by!
I hope you had an enjoyable New Year’s Eve. Mine was quiet, which is fine with me, and was spent with my two grandchildren (2 & 5 years old). Needless to say, we went to bed before midnight but were happy and cozy in our beds.
With the start of the new year, I am going to be making a few changes. The first one is the frequency of my blog posts. I have lots of new ideas but I’m not finding the time to implement them. In the month of January, you will be able to count on projects from me on Monday, Wednesday and Friday but if I have Stampin’ Up! updates to share, I’ll definitely post more often.
I love hearing from YOU and it’s what makes blogging fun! So, in the month of January I’m going to try something new. For every comment or question you leave here on my blog in the month of January, your name will go into a “hat.” At the the end of the month, I’ll pull a name and that person will win a prize of some Stampin’ Up! goodies! Sounds fun, right? I hope to hear from you!

The Whisper White NARROW Notecards and Envelopes are debuting on January 3rd when the Occasions catalog goes live! They are the perfect size to slip inside a gift bag or attach to a gift! The cards measure 2-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ and the envelopes are 2-3/4″ x 4-3/4″. They will also fit well inside the new Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies (not shown today), also debuting on Wednesday!
The paper used for the front panel of each card is from the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. The sentiment is from the stamp set A Good Day and was cut out with the 1-3/8″ Scalloped Circle punch (both the paper and punch are available for purchase on January 3, 2017). I also cut a Rich Razzleberry scalloped circle using the Layering Circle Framelits. One card uses a Rich Razzleberry enamel shape from the Brights collection and the other comes from the Metallic Enamel Shapes.

Funny name for a blog post, right? It’s actually the name of a package of Designer Series Paper that will be available for FREE when Sale-a-bration begins on January 3rd.
I received today’s card in the mail from my Stampin’ Up! Team Leader, Dawn Griffith, for my birthday in November. She used products from the Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogs, both debuting on January 3, 2018!

If you celebrated Christmas yesterday I hope you had a happy day! I always look forward to the day after Christmas because it’s a day of relaxation and eating leftovers!
