Stampin’ Up! Changes

Cling Stamps Are Going Away

Stampin’ Up! made an announcement yesterday about cling stamps, Stampin’ Write Markers and New Packaging for Stamps & Dies. If you received my newsletter yesterday, you know that changes are coming our way in the Stampin’ Up! world.

Stampin’ Up! has decided to discontinue our cling stamp line due to challenges in sourcing the necessary raw materials. While Stampin’ Up! currently has access to enough raw materials to continue production for the time being, the supply has become increasingly inconsistent, and certain key raw materials are no longer being manufactured. Stampin’ Up! is choosing to make this change now to ensure a smoother, more strategic transition—with minimal disruption. They will continue to offer a wide range of photopolymer stamps to support various artistic styles and techniques.

What’s Happening When
Photopolymer Transition Starting with November 2025 Online Exclusives, all new stamps will be photopolymer.

Last Online Exclusives to Include Cling Stamps September 2025 Online Exclusives

Annual Catalog Cling Transition* In April 2026, all cling stamps in the 2025–2026 Annual Catalog will move to Last Chance Products and be available while supplies last. No cling stamps from the annual catalog will carry over.
Online Exclusives Cling Transition Cling stamps released in Online Exclusives through September 2025 will be supported—based on demand—until April 2026 at the latest. Some will likely discontinue prior to April.
Final Transition In April 2026, all remaining cling stamps across our offering will move to Last Chance Products and be available while supplies last.

*Please note: Some cling stamps in the September–December 2025 Mini Catalog and/or 2025–2026 Annual Catalog may sell through their remaining inventory prior to the December or April Last Chance Products updates. In those cases, the products will move directly to the Discontinued Products List rather than appearing in Last Chance Products.

Stampin’ Write Markers

Stampin’ Up! has also decided  to discontinue Stampin’ Write Markers. With the growing popularity of Stampin’ Blends, they’ve seen a steady decline in sales of Stampin’ Write Markers. One of the primary techniques unique to Stampin’ Write Markers is coloring directly on cling stamps—a technique that will become less relevant as we transition away from cling.

On August 20, 2025, TODAY, all Stampin’ Write Markers will move to Last Chance Products* and be available while supplies last.

You can shop here for Stampin’ Write Markers, here! Or see them below.

*While we typically only update our Last Chance Products during the first week of even-numbered months, we’re making an exception for this transition.

New Packaging for Stamps & Dies

As part of Stampin’ Up!  transition away from cling stamps, Stampin’ Up! is excited to introduce updated packaging for stamps and dies! Because photopolymer stamps are thinner, they’re able to offer sleeker, slimmer packaging that saves space. Both stamps and dies will now come in the same size and style of packaging, making it easier than ever to store bundles and coordinating products together. The new packaging is similar to our current die packaging—durable, clear plastic envelopes—but with an exciting improvement: Die packaging will now feature printed artwork for quick and easy identification! Stamp packaging will continue to display artwork as well. You can read below about the transition to this new packaging.

What’s Happening When
New Photopolymer Stamps and Dies in New Packaging All new stamps and dies starting with November Online Exclusives will come in the new packaging.
Transition for Photopolymer Stamps Released Prior to November 2025* Photopolymer stamps released prior to November will transition to the new packaging with a rolling change. During this time, you and your customers may receive some stamps in old packaging and some in new. Transition will vary across markets based on inventory levels.
No Transition for Dies Released Prior to November 2025 Dies released prior to November will not transition to the new packaging. They will be sold in their existing packaging until they are discontinued.
No Transition for Cling Stamps No cling stamps will transition to the new packaging.

*Some photopolymer stamps may move to Last Chance Products, sell out, and discontinue prior to transitioning to the new packaging.

These Are a Few of My Favorite Retiring Products!

On Tuesday, many retiring items were announced! I thought I would post cards of the retiring products that are my favorites. You can click on the card to be taken to the original post. If the links don’t work try them again (I check all my links to see if they go to the right product. I had some not take me there and when I clicked it again, it went right to the product).

For this first card, I was late to use the Memorable Blooms stamp set and dies. I’m sorry it is being retired because I loved using it. The stamp set and dies aren’t discounted so your best bet is to get the Memorable Blooms Bundle where you get 10% off.

Here’s two more cards using the Memorable Blooms Bundle. In the first card, the Dashing Designs Embossing Folder is retiring. I love this folder!

On this next card, I used Sale-a-Bration paper that has retired and the Purple Adhesive Backed Sequins have also retired. I recommend using our Purple Fine Shimmer Gems

For this next card, I used the Wanted to Say Dies, which are retiring. The regular price was $39.00 and the sale prices is $35.10.The other products on the card are not retiring.

For this next card, I used the Countryside Corners Dies which are retiring. They were 28.00 and the sale price is $19.60. The paper I used, 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper is also retiring. It was normally $12.50 and the sale prices is $7.50

This next card also uses the Countryside Corners Dies and the Starstruck Embossing Folder which was available during Sale-a-Bration and is retired. I also used Glossy Dots Assortment which are retiring. They were normally $8.00 and they are on sale for $7.20. I love these Glossy Dots!

Now I’m sharing some embellishments I’m sad to say goodbye to.

These first ones are the 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems. These add sparkle to your cards! The colors are Peach Pie, Petunia Pop, Pretty in Pink, Shy Shamrock and Summer Splash. They were normally $8.50 and the sale price is $7.65.

This next embellishment is called Tinsel Gems Four-Pack. I loved using these gems! They come in Berry Burst, Blueberry Bushel, Lemon Lime Twist and Pretty Peacock. They were normally $8.00 and now on sale for $6.40.

This next embellishment is called Tinsel Gems Three-Pack. The colors are Misty Moonlight, Fresh Freesia and Lost Lagoon. They were normally $7.50 and now are on sale for $6.75.

This next embellishment is called 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots. The colors are Peach Pie, Petunia Pop, Pretty in Pink, Shy Shamrock and Summer Splash. They are normally $8.00 but the sale price is $6.40.

These are the Glossy Dots Assortment that I mentioned above. The colors are Daffodil Delight, Gorgeous Grape, Melon Mambo and Pool Party. They were normally $8.00 and they are on sale for $7.20.

This next embellishment are the Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins. They have been out of stock and are now back in. These are not on sale.

These are my favorite Embossing Folders (if you know me, you know I like my embossing folders) that are retiring. This first one is the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder that I shared earlier. It’s normally $10.00 but the sale price is $9.00.

This next embossing folder is called the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. It was normally $11.00 and is on sale for $5.50.

This next embossing folder is called the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. It is not on sale but it is retiring.

This next embossing folder is the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder. It’s a great one for Christmas cards. It’s normally $11.00 and on sale for $9.90.

This next embossing Folder is the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder. It normally is $10.00 but it’s on sale for $9.00.

This last one is the Cute Crochet 3D Embossing Folder. It’s normally $10.00 and is on sale for $9.00.
