The Whisper White NARROW Notecards and Envelopes are debuting on January 3rd when the Occasions catalog goes live! They are the perfect size to slip inside a gift bag or attach to a gift! The cards measure 2-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ and the envelopes are 2-3/4″ x 4-3/4″. They will also fit well inside the new Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies (not shown today), also debuting on Wednesday!
The paper used for the front panel of each card is from the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. The sentiment is from the stamp set A Good Day and was cut out with the 1-3/8″ Scalloped Circle punch (both the paper and punch are available for purchase on January 3, 2017). I also cut a Rich Razzleberry scalloped circle using the Layering Circle Framelits. One card uses a Rich Razzleberry enamel shape from the Brights collection and the other comes from the Metallic Enamel Shapes.

December 22nd has always been a special day because it’s the day my dad was born. He passed away in 2009 and would have been 89 today. He was a great father and I miss him every single day.
He was always difficult to shop for because when he liked something, he got it. But he loved going through the Lands’ End & LL Bean catalogs at this time of year and choosing what he’d like for his birthday and Christmas. I received a Lands’ End catalog in the mail the other day and felt a pang of regret that he wouldn’t be going through it.
When my mom was pregnant with me, my dad was working as an extra in the movies, down in Los Angeles. That didn’t last long but he’s in the background of many movies such as Bus Stop and The Ten Commandments. He was a bodybuilder which led him to opening his own health club in Redwood City, California, where I grew up.
As I mentioned, he was an extra in The Ten Commandments. Growing up, every single year we’d watch the movie and excitedly look for him. He’s the one in the front holding the golden calf. The picture on the right is from another scene where’s he’s hammering gold. It was always fun because this scene came right after a commercial break. Special memories!
If you’ve read this far, thank you! Please feel free to share in the comments section, a special memory you have of a loved one!
Happy Birthday, Dad! We’ll miss you today and carving the turkey on Christmas!
Have you reserved a Stamparatus yet? Saturday, December 30th is the last day to put your reservation in if you want to have one before it debuts in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog in June. Reserving one this month is just that, a reservation. While you do need a credit card to reserve a Stamparatus, you will not be charged until it ships sometime in March – April. Once it’s arrived at the Stampin’ Up! warehouse, you’ll receive an email to close your order and only at that time, will you be charged.
If you’ve never used a stamp positioning tool before, I bet you’re wondering why you would need a tool like this. Believe me when I say that it will totally change the way you stamp!
Making multiple cards? Once your stamp is placed on one of the plates and your paper is secured with the heavy duty magnets, ink your stamp and close the cover. Keep repeating this process and your image will be in the exact spot on each card.
Have you ever been completely frustrated when you’ve stamped an image and it’s too light? Me too. But with the Stamparatus, that will never be a problem again. The magnets keep the paper in the same exact spot, so all you need to do is ink up the stamp again and stamp until your image looks exactly the way you want!
The Stamparatus has hinges along the right side which means you can perfectly align words or images underneath one another.
To see it in action, watch the video below!
To reserve yours, you’ll need a credit card and a Stampin’ Up! account. To do that, go here and then click Create Account (top left of the screen). You have until December 30th to reserve a Stamparatus and after that, they won’t be offered again until the new catalog debuts in June.
