Hello! Today I’m sharing a card I made last November in Salt Lake City during the OnStage convention. It uses lots of new product from the Occasions Catalog and it’s all from the Petal Passion Suite (towards the end of the post you’ll find the link to my Stampin’ Up! online store for all of these products):
Petal Passion Designer Series Paper – All of the sheets are black and white. You can leave them as is or color them.
Petal Palette Stamp Set – 15 different stamps
Whisper White 1/4″ Organza Ribbon – This is very similar to the organza ribbon we used to carry that has since retired and it was my all time favorite ribbon. Just like the retired one, this new ribbon can be spritzed any color you want and it ties into a bow beautifully.
Petal Passion Embellishments – metal embellishments in a flower (with a pearl center) and a leaf.
The Petal Passion Suite also comes with a bundle that includes the Petal Palette Stamp Set and the Petals & More Thinlits Dies. I didn’t use the dies on today’s project but I did include the bundles in the product list below because you’ll save 10% if you purchase the two products as a bundle.
Petal Passion Designer Series: 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ 3/4″ x 3-3/4″
If you have any questions about today’s card, don’t hesitate to ask! I love hearing from you and anyone who leaves a comment or question in the month of January will have their name entered in a draw to win some Stampin’ Up! goodies from me!
We’ve had several rainy days here in California and I love it! Hoping today is more of the same! Have a great day!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting the January Glitter Queens Blog Hop! It’s a new year and we have a brand new logo! Our theme this month is All Things New and boy, oh boy, there’s so much new!!!! The Occasions Catalog just launched and it’s filled with brand new products PLUS Sale-A-Bration is in full swing which means that with every $50 purchase, you earn free product!!
My box features lots of new goodies!
Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies – Occasions Catalog
Picture Perfect Party 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper – Occasions Catalog
Celebrate You Thinlits Dies – Sale-A-Bration Catalog
Amazing You stamp set – Sale-A-Bration Catalog
The box couldn’t be simpler to make with the Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies. Simply cut two of the larger die, glue the sides together and your box is ready! I’ll be honest, when I first saw the box at OnStage in Salt Lake City, my thoughts were that I didn’t need a box framelit. So glad I didn’t listen to myself because you can make the box so fast (and it’s really cute)! The box itself measures 4-7/8″ x 3″ x 5/8″ and what’s so fun is that our new Whisper White Narrow Notecards & Envelopesfit inside perfectly! I chose to put a gift card inside my box along with our new Shredded Crinkle-cut Paper (this item is packaged with THREE bags of paper in dark pink, silver and white).
I also used the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies, a Sale-A-Bration choice when you make a $100 purchase. These dies will be in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog and wouldn’t it be great to get them FREE now??
In this version, I wrapped Berry Burst Metallic Ribbon around the box. If you love Berry Burst, you are going to love this ribbon because it’s gorgeous!
All of the supplies I used will be listed at the end of my post and if you’d like to place an order, simply click any of the products and you’ll be directed to my Stampin’ Up! website.
I hope you’ll continue around the hop and visit everyone! Davette Strange Miller is up next and you can visit her here! Here’s a list of the Glitter Queens in the hop today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Did you know that in the month of January, each day you leave a comment here on my blog, I’ll enter your name in a contest to win some Stampin’ Up! goodies?? Check back on February 1st and see who our winner is!

Blog Candy
Leave a comment on my blog during the month of January and you’ll be entered to win some Stampin’ Up! goodies from me! Your name will be entered each day you leave a comment or ask a question!
It’s 2018! Remember when we thought 2000 sounded so weird and now here we are, eighteen years later. Wow! I feel that the older I get, the faster time flies by!
I hope you had an enjoyable New Year’s Eve. Mine was quiet, which is fine with me, and was spent with my two grandchildren (2 & 5 years old). Needless to say, we went to bed before midnight but were happy and cozy in our beds.
With the start of the new year, I am going to be making a few changes. The first one is the frequency of my blog posts. I have lots of new ideas but I’m not finding the time to implement them. In the month of January, you will be able to count on projects from me on Monday, Wednesday and Friday but if I have Stampin’ Up! updates to share, I’ll definitely post more often.
I love hearing from YOU and it’s what makes blogging fun! So, in the month of January I’m going to try something new. For every comment or question you leave here on my blog in the month of January, your name will go into a “hat.” At the the end of the month, I’ll pull a name and that person will win a prize of some Stampin’ Up! goodies! Sounds fun, right? I hope to hear from you!
January Host Code
I have a new host code for the month of January (you can always find it on the right hand side of my blog). If you use it when placing your order, you’ll receive a card kit. Unfortunately I’m still working on the finishing touches and will be posting all the details in the next few days!
