Quick post today as Christmas Day is getting close!! Do you have a gift card and you’re wondering how you can package it in a different way? Use a plain tin container and emboss it! I used my Versamark to stamp my snowflakes, sprinkled them with silver embossing powder and heat embossed them! Be careful, as they do get quite hot! I added paper to the inside of the tin and made a small envelope with my Envelope Punch Board. Next, I ran it through my Big Shot with the Northern Flurry embossing folder.

Today would have been my dad’s 85th birthday. We lost him in 2009 and not a day goes by that I don’t think about him. He was all about family and he adored all of us. I was blessed with a wonderful father and grandfather for my daughters.

Mom and Dad on my wedding day in 1980.

This black and white photo sure dates me!
This last photo is of my daughters and my dad. Both of my girls are in their thirties now but this has always been a favorite picture of mine. They loved their grandpa!

So sweet!

Another Christmas card for you today. If you changed up the colors, it could very easily be a birthday card! To make my present, I used one of the shapes in the Squares Framelits and then used my Seasons of Style Washi Tape! So easy! I stamped my sentiment and then ran it through my Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. If you need a last minute, quick and easy card for Christmas, this is it!

How sweet are these two little guys??? Love them! You can find these cuties in the Best of Snow stamp set. Before coloring with my Stampin’ Markers and blender pen, I stamped the image with Staz-On. This prevents my image from bleeding. I used the Labels Collection Framelits and pierced the larger one using the Festive Paper Piercing Pack. I know that it is a bit hard to see that detail in the picture. I stamped my sentiment in Real Red and it’s from the set Joy to the World. I used our gorgeous silver ribbon, first wrapping a piece around my paper and adhering it to the back. Then I made a bow and used a glue dot to attach it.

There are still many items on the Clearance Rack at greatly reduced prices! This 8×8 album was $14.95 and now you can pick it up for $5.99! I bought one several months ago and I decided to use it to house my Framelits!
First, I have a close up for you of the cover as it is a bit hard to see the detail in the picture above. I bought magnetic vent covers (they come 3 to a pack) and cut them a little bit smaller than 8×8 so that they would be easy to pull out of the sleeve and I made a label for each page. The binder is very heavy but I like that I can quickly locate the Framelit I want. I can pull out one piece or if I want or the entire “page” I can take it out of the sleeve and have it right near my Big Shot. If you aren’t aware of this, it is very important to keep magnets away from your computer, so you don’t want to store this binder near your computer.

If you would like to purchase one of these binders before they are gone, you can visit my online store here. Thanks so much for stopping by!
