I love my Paper Snips (#103579) and use them EVERY time I create in my stamp room! They are extremely sharp and great for snipping little bits of paper or trimming ribbon. I’ll use them when I want to cut out a stamped image and it makes the job so easy. The precision-ground tips allow for cutting all the way to the end of the 2- 1/2 inch blades. The scissors come with a safety cover which is really a nice feature. These scissors are extra sharp and can easily cut your finger if you aren’t careful (ask me how I know!!).
You can order your very own pair of Paper Snips at my SU! online store,

Hi Friends,
My card today uses the same layout as my card HERE. I simply changed the papers, colors and embellishments. I tried to choose colors and brads that were more masculine. I think I could have used some brighter colors for my sentiment but I am happy with it. Luckily this stamp set, Make a Wish, will be carried over in the new catalog as well as the 3/8″ Glimmer Brads. The paper is from the Print Poetry Designer Series Pack that will be retiring on May 31st when the Spring catalog goes away. I hope that we will see a new pack like this in the Winter catalog!
Thank you for stopping by today. You can order Stampin’ Up! products here from my website 24/7!

I went to a baby shower yesterday! It was for my daughter’s sister in law, Summer. She will be having a little boy in July and my granddaughter, Audrey, will have a new little cousin! Fun times ahead!
I found a nice tutorial on Becky Jensen’s site and you can see it here. It was very easy to follow. I used a stamp set that is retiring in about two weeks called Baby Bundle. I stamped my images on Very Vanilla with Staz-On and then colored them in with my stamp pads and Aqua Painter. When you don’t use watercolor paper, you have to be careful that you don’t overwork the paper or it will begin to disintegrate on you. I typed Parker’s name on the computer and then punched it out with the small oval punch. I wanted to simulate snaps at the bottom and knew that I was going to use brads but I didn’t want them to show through on the inside. I punched three small circles from the Owl Builder punch, inserted the brads and then trimmed the ends of the brads with my Craft and Rubber scissors (which are also retiring). Then I adhered them to the onesie with glue dots. Sweet Baby on the envelope is from the set It’s a Wrap Occasions.

Hi Friends!
Today I have a sneak peek for you! Do you know which product on my card is new?? It’s the embossing folder and it’s called Modern Mosaic! You can purchase it in the new catalog which goes live on May 31st.
I saw a card with this layout some time ago by Rita Wright and knew right away that I wanted to try it. She used paper that has since retired so I decided to use paper from the Print Poetry Designer Series Pack which retires in a few weeks! What you can’t see in the photo is that my flower has a lot of height. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals on each layer. There are actually two of each of the flowers with dimensionals between them.
Thanks so much for stopping by! If you would like to purchase any of the products used to make my card, you can visit my online store here!

Hi Friends,
Today I am going to spotlight Sticky Strip (#104294)!! Stampin’ Up! sells a wide variety of adhesives but when I want a super strong hold, I turn to Sticky Strip. Once in a while I will use it on a card but I always use it for 3D items. Sometimes an embossed layer for a card doesn’t lay down well and that’s when I use Sticky Strip on a card. It is double sided, 1/4″ wide and you receive 10 yards, so it really does last a long time. Just as the name implies, it is VERY sticky so I have a pair of scissors that I use just for Sticky Strip.
Thank you for stopping by today!
