One More Mother’s Day Card
Here’s one more Mother’s Day card to show you. I made this one for my terrific mother-in-law, Pat! It is also done using the Color Wash technique. I decided to make her flowers pink so I used Melon Mambo. You can’t see the little pearls in the center of each flower but they are there!
Have a wonderful day!!!

Happy Mother’s Day!
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there!!! Today is our youngest daughter’s first Mother’s Day!! You can see a cute picture of Erin and Audrey below.
This is the card that I made for Erin. She loves purple so the flowers were painted using Elegant Eggplant. The card base is Elegant Eggplant too!
Mother’s Day Card
Hi Friends!
Today I have a Mother’s Day card for you! I used the stamp set Fabulous Florets, one I have to admit I have had for some time but have rarely used. I used the Color Wash technique. I embossed my flowers and then painted them with Whisper White craft ink. After it dried, I used my Rich Razzleberry stamp pad and my Aqua Painter and finished coloring my flowers. My sentiment looks crooked – that is driving me crazy – but in person it is straight. 🙂 It is hard to see in the photo but I also added some pearls in the center of each flower. The stamp set I used, Wonderful Mother, is retiring so get it now if you like it!
I’m giving this card to my mom for Mother’s Day – I know she won’t see this post before I give it to her. I have another Mother’s Day card that I will show tomorrow!
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

Oh, Hello
Hi Friends!
Today’s card is one that was inspired by a card I saw in Stampin! Success, a magazine for demonstrators. It uses the Honeycomb embossing folder for the Big Shot which has become one of my favorite folders. The stamp set I used is Oh, Hello. I stamped the chevron pattern in Crumb Cake and used my Oval Framelits and Big Shot to cut it out. To color the flower I used my Gumball Green and Elegant Eggplant Stampin’ Write markers and applied the color directly to the stamp. It is such an easy way to get different colors on a stamped image. I made a little bow with Linen Thread and adhered it with a two-way glue pen. I used dimensionals to apply the honeycomb layer to my card base to give it extra dimension.
