Ribbon Flowers

I haven’t had a chance to get into my stamp room since returning from Salt Lake City so here is a card I saw displayed at Convention. I thought it was a really cute way to use ribbon. I will definitely be trying my hand at this one!
This morning my daughter and I are going to another baby shower for her given by her sister-in-law, Summer. Baby showers are always so much fun! Erin is due in only 8 weeks, sooner if Audrey decides to make an early entrance!!
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Dahlias

Today was a travel day for me. I hopped on another plane to visit my daughter and son-in-law. This Sunday my daughter is having another baby shower and I am so happy that I can be a part of it!

My picture today is another convention photo. It is a very cute card using our new dahlias! I saw some other ideas using these little flowers and can’t wait to play with them once I am back home.

Thank you for stopping by!

Baby Bundle

I LOVE this card!!  I found it on Kelly Acheson’s blog and  pretty much copied it exactly as she had it.  It is just so stinkin’ adorable.  I used the set Baby Bundle.  Dimensionals were used to make the first drawer look like it’s open.  The only time-consuming part is cutting  out the little pieces but that didn’t really take very long.  One of these days I will have to try making it in blue!

Happy You

My card today is one that we made at my Hostess Club meetings last month.  This set is called Happy You and it is a Hostess set.  Don’t you just love this image? I saw this card on Chat Wszelaki’s site but I changed it up a small bit to work with the supplies I had.  My daughter is expecting a girl in September (SO EXCITED) so I’ve been drawn to baby cards recently! I will have another baby card for you tomorrow that we also made at my Hostess Club in June.  Thank you for stopping by!

Making Friends

I went to Convention by myself but met Kristina and Gina who invited me to join them for lunch the first day. We hung out together the rest of the week and I was so grateful to be able to experience Convention with them. Another friend I met was Joan and she took the picture of Kristina and I.

Here’s to new friends!!!

Convention Video

Each year Stampin’ Up! has a new theme and a video/song to accompany it which they show at Convention.  The theme this year is “i am.” and in the video you can see Stampin’ Up! employees at the home office lip syncing the song.  Shelli Gardner, the co-founder, is also in the video.  She is in the section where you see three women wearing shirts made from Stampin’ Up! material.  The material is also behind them.  Shelli is right after them.  The cool thing is that we were watching the video at convention and then at the end some of the dancers and the singer came on the stage which was a surprise.  You can see this in the video.  They will pan the audience and you can “see” thousands of demonstrators, one of which was me!   This song is in my head – I am singing it constantly.  As you watch it, think how you would answer the question,  ” I am __________.”

I can’t wait to go to Convention next year.  It will mark the 25th anniversary of Stampin’ Up!  Join SU! and we can go to Convention together!  If you would like more info, please email me!
