It’s Halloween tomorrow and if you’re looking for one last treat holder, you can make today’s project quickly with an Envelope Punch Board.
I made this treat holder to fit a King Size package of York Peppermint Patties. King size is a bit misleading – this is a 2.5 oz. package.
If you don’t have a Envelope Punch Board, not only can you make tons of different sized envelopes but with some extra score lines you can turn an envelope into a box! It’s such a versatile tool!
For this box, you’ll start with a piece of Basic Black paper measuring 7-1/2″ x 7-1/2″. You’ll punch and score one side at 3-1/2″ and 4-3/8″. For the other three sides, you won’t use these measurements but will instead line up the score lines as shown below. Sorry that it’s a bit difficult to see the piece that my arrow is indicating – we’ve had cloudy days here.
Cut on the score lines indicated below. Fold on all of the score lines and bring all the sides in to create your envelope box!
These measurements will give you a perfect envelope/box for any last minute Halloween candy gifts.
I used the cute stamp set The Little Things and stamped it with Elegant Eggplant ink on Whisper White card stock. It sits on a circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits in Elegant Eggplant. The bottom scallop is in Pumpkin Pie. The Whisper White and Pumpkin Pie were cut out with the Layering Circles Framelits.
