Hi Friends! Today I have a little treat bag made using the new Brights DSP pack. I love these Color Collection packs. There are (40) 12 x 12 sheets in 10 different colors. There’s a different color pack for each of the color families (Brights, Regals, Subltes, Neutrals, and the In Colors). The paper is double-sided with four different designs. If you’ve bought this paper in the past, you’ll be happy to know that the designs have changed up a bit. They kept the dots (yea!!) and added three other designs that I’m really happy with.
My project shows you two of the designs in Bermuda Bay and below are the other two in Real Red.
There was a quality issue with the Neutrals and Regals packs so they are currently not available but you can still purchase the Brights, In Colors and Subtles!
Back to my project! It’s a cute size for a little chocolate treat as well as the perfect size for jewelry! I used the new 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon. In the last catalog this ribbon was available in the In Colors but this year the colors available are Whisper White, Pacific Point (gorgeous!!), Crumb Cake, Melon Mambo and Basic Black.
I used the new stamp set You’re So Sweet which is available in clear or wood. It can also be purchased as part of a bundle with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies for a discount of 15%. I recently purchased something in the catalog and didn’t realize until later that it was part of a bundle! Darn it (actually those weren’t the words I used) so I want to be sure to point out the bundles to you!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

I’m excited to introduce a new Customer Reward program to thank all of my loyal customers. Starting today, you will earn a point for every $50 you spend (before shipping/tax) at my Stampin’ Up! online store. When you have collected 10 points, you can choose a FREE stamp set or Framelit/Thinlit Collection (up to a $28.00 value).
Here’s how it works:
You’ll earn one point for every $50 in Stampin’ Up! product that you order (before tax and shipping). Separate orders may not be combined. For example, an order of $49.25 would not receive a point. An order of $101.00, would receive 2 points.
All orders must be placed with me, either in person or online. Look for my name in the upper right hand corner of the shopping page.
I will track your points for you. When you reach ten points I’ll contact you and let you know how to redeem your gift.
Clearance Rack items can be included in your order
Please do not check the box on the online ordering page that says NO CONTACT. If you do, I will have no way of knowing that you’ve placed an order.
This program becomes effective on June 18, 2015. Terms and conditions are subject to change.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!
Happy Wednesday! Sorry for my lack of posts. I came down with something last week and I’m just now getting my energy back. I did get a chance to play in my stamp room yesterday so I will definitely have some projects to show you later this week.
I’ve been busy working on a Stamp of the Month Club that I will be offering online! It’s something that I’ve wanted to do for a LONG time and I’m happy to say that it’s coming together – finally! Be on the lookout for more details soon!
The Weekly Deals are here! I love it when punches and Big Shot accessories are on sale!! Click on any box below to purchase any of the items or if you would like to see more details about the products.
I saw this last night and thought it was too cute not to share!
Sara Douglass, the Stampin’ Up! Interim CEO, was recently featured on a local Utah morning show called Good Things Utah! She showed viewers how to take just six Stampin’ Up! products to create an entire look and feel for summer parties and get-togethers. You can watch the video here!
Below are some simple instructions on how you can create these summertime projects.
Utensil Holder—Make a 2″ cut on either side of a Kraft Tag a Bag Gift Bags (item # 138315) and fold the flap down. Adhere a 2″-wide strip of Farmers Market Designers Series Paper to the front.
Cookie Holder—Take a 9″ x 9″ piece of Farmers Market Designer Series Paper and fold it in half; then take one corner and fold it straight across. Repeat this with the other corner. To complete the project, take the top flap and fold one piece down to create an open pocket (see the video link above).

Another product I ordered and am anxiously waiting its arrival is the Cottage Greetings Card Kit as well as the coordinating stamp set, Cottage Greetings. I love that Stampin’ Up! is releasing videos that make it possible to see exactly what you’ll receive with a product as well as what to do with it once it arrives! Enjoy the video below!
I’ve certainly been on a butterfly kick. Making them in any color you want can be addicting AND fun!
Using sponge daubers, I swirled color onto my Whisper White cardstock using Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight. I wasn’t deliberately making circles and was surprised with what I created!
Once the paper dried, I cut out a butterfly using the Butterflies Thinlits. I LOVE how the butterfly turned out! Imagine all the possible beautiful color combinations! When using this die, I recommend adding a piece of waxed paper between the paper and the thinlit. This helps all the tiny pieces come out. Sometimes I also run the “sandwich” through my Big Shot twice just to be sure that it is completely cut out.
I hope you’ll give this a try and if you do, I’d love to see what you’ve created!

One of the new products that immediately caught my eye can be found right on the front of the catalog – the Tin of Cards Project Kit. In the kit you’ll receive a printed tin box and materials to make 16 cards. I placed my order for it yesterday and can’t wait for it to arrive! I also ordered the coordinating stamp set, Tin of Cards. You can watch the video below for more information about this new card kit!
Tin of Cards Project Kit #138378 $27.00
Tin of Cards 20 Photopolymer Stamps #138946 $17.00

What’s really fun about today is that not only can you order from this new catalog but the Occasions and 2014-2015 Annual catalog as well. You can order from all three catalogs today but starting tomorrow, you’ll only be able to order from the brand new catalog.
The project that I have for you today has lots of new products but my sentiment is from the Occasions catalog (So You #137165) which means that today is the last day to order it!
I’ve made this cute bag from the brand new Bohemian Designer Series Paper and the Gift Bag Punch Board. I tied it up with the yummy new Dotted Lace Trim in Delightful Dijon (one of the new In Colors). It comes in all of the five new In Colors. It is absolutely beautiful in person!
As you can see in the Product List below, the punch board also makes holes (this part is optional) in the bag so you can close it up. I had a hard time keeping the bag closed while I made my bow with the lace trim so I just used a clip. It made it so much easier!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I’ll be back later today with the Weekly Deals!

I posted this card yesterday but haven’t had a chance until now to give you the details about it so thought I would just start a new post. The flowers come from the set Butterfly Basics in the Occasions catalog. I am happy to say that it will carry over and be in the new catalog. It has been a very popular stamp set!
I stamped the flower in Memento Ink onto Whisper White cardstock. Unfortunately Stampin’ Up! no longer carries colored pencils so I used my Prismacolor set to color in the petals and leaves. I find it so relaxing to color. I thought about using my blender pen to soften the colors a bit but I did this while at my mom’s and didn’t have one with me. My sentiment comes from the set So You, also in the Occasions catalog, but sadly it will not be carrying over. I wish I had started using this set when it first came out!
I used Blackberry Bliss cardstock, which I felt complimented the purple used for the flowers. I popped up the top layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals. All in all, it’s a fairly quick and easy card to make!
Thank you for stopping by today! As always, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!

Thanks so much to everyone who inquired about my mom. She is doing great. She was hospitalized for just a few days but is doing very well now. I couldn’t be happier!!
I have a quick post today. Here’s a card I worked on while I was with my mom. I will add more details about my card later today!
The Weekly Deals are here! I am so excited that the Painted Blooms DSP is on sale! I purchased two packs last week (darn it, I missed out on the sale) but I think I will get a few more. I love this paper and am sad that it won’t be available soon! All of the Weekly Deals are while supplies last or until Monday, May 30th.
