It is hard to tell by the top picture but this is a window card (it’s easier to see in the bottom picture). I should have changed my background when I photographed it but I realized this too late – after I already sent the card off!
The sentiment comes from a photopolymer set called Lovely Amazing You (#140594). It can’t be found in any of our catalogs but I do have it in my product list below. I stamped two flowers from the set Petal Potpourri and punched them out with the Flower Medallion punch. I thought the card could use a little sparkle so the centers have a 1/2″ circle of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper.

I covered my notepads with paper from the Brights Designer Series Paper Pack. We have these paper packs in each of the color families. The paper measures 12 x 12 and there are 40 sheets with 2 each of 2 double sided designs. My favorite design is definitely the dots!
In my supply list I’ve not only listed the Petal Potpourri stamp set but the bundles as well. If you purchase the stamp set along with the punch, you’ll receive a 15% discount!
I used the Painted Petals stamp set to color the flowers on the note tag punch piece. Using my Stampin’ Write markers, I colored directly onto the stamp. Not all of our markers are sold separately but Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Rich Razzleberry can be purchased individually. I also used Bermuda Bay but it can only be be purchased in the Brights set (which also includes Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Rich Razzleberry). The stems were colored using Garden Green, found in the Regals Collection of markers.
If you have any questions about the notepads or placing an order, please don’t hesitate to email me!

Thank you so much to everyone who left a comment for a chance to win the stamp set Simply Wonderful! I think the consensus is that we will miss the beautiful In Colors but it’s also exciting to know that there will be five new colors very soon!! The winner of the stamp set is:
Carol McGregor
Congratulations Carol! Please email me your mailing address and I will send your stamp set off to you!
Last week I celebrated my 6th Anniversary with Stampin’ Up! and I still have a stamp set that I’m giving away. For a chance to win the stamp set Simply Wonderful, leave a comment telling me your favorite 2013-2015 In Color – Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding, Baked Brown Sugar or Crisp Cantaloupe. If you would like to leave a comment (you have until NOON Pacific time today), you can check out Saturday’s post, here!
My card today is all about tulips! I used the Love is Kindness stamp set. It does come with its own sentiment but instead of using it, I simply covered it up with a post it note, stamped the image in Staz-On, removed the post it note and stamped in onto a piece of vellum.
Wood #137131 $8.95
I started out coloring the image on the back but I have to say that I like the vibrancy that is achieved when you color on the front! I used my Rose Red and Garden Green stamp pads along with my Aqua Painter to color the image.
I made a frame with my Oval Framelits and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up the top layer of the card.
The top card is the final version of my card but the one below is the same card but with one change. Can you tell what I did differently? I’ll tell you at the end of the post!
If you would like to place an order, please use this hostess code:
In addition to a thank you card this month, I will send you one of my 3 x 5 DSP Covered Notepads!
Were you able to figure out the subtle difference between the two cards? After I finished coloring my image (the bottom card), I stamped the image again with Staz-On onto Whisper White. Then I cut out the newspaper and glued it onto my colored image (the top card). Did you guess correctly?
Can I just say that I LOVED reading the comments that were left on Wednesday and Thursday? For the chance to win For Being You, I asked that a comment be left telling something nice someone has done for you recently. There’s nothing better than hearing about the kindness of others. Each story brought a smile to my face. Thank you for taking the time to share!

Several days ago I shared a pen that I filled with my favorite Stampin’ Up! paper. Today I’m sharing a way to take that pen and transform it into a gift, Stampin’ Up! style! Watch the video below and see how to put the gift together!
Here’s a picture of the box closed (sorry it’s such a poor photo). It’s hard to tell but I used the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper for both the front of the case and the small notepad – much prettier in person.
You can see the small notepad post HERE and the pen post, HERE.
Have a wonderful weekend! Be sure to check back on Monday!! I’m celebrating an anniversary and there just might be some blog candy! 🙂

I love office supply stores and always gravitate towards the pens and paper! I have no business going anywhere near the pen/pencil department as I have WAY too many pens for one household but that never stops me. I especially love it when I can combine one of my favorite Stampin’ Up! packages of paper with a pen! That’s just what I’ve done for today’s post. Watch the video below to see how easy it is to transform a boring pen into a pretty pen!
