I finally had the chance to play around with my Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlits Dies. It is so quick and easy to make a cute envelope for your gift cards! You could place a gift card inside and give it as is or if you don’t want the recipient to immediately know it is a gift card, place it in a larger box. Double unwrapping!
I used Garden Green cardstock for my envelope. Before running it through the Big Shot, I stamped snowflakes from the set Endless Wishes with Silver Metallic Encore Ink. You do need to give this ink a chance to dry. I used Real Red for my belly band. I thought the envelope could use more sparkle so I used Silver Glimmer paper to place under my sentiment. This always gives a WOW effect! I embossed my sentiment with silver embossing powder, added a few rhinestones and I was done!
Have a great day!

And last but not least, the Weekly Deals for this week!
Enjoy your weekend!
I have another card for you today using silver embossing powder and the Star Framelits. It is hard to capture the sheen of the embossing but it is quite pretty in person. I cut out the tiny star in the middle by hand. I seem to have lost the small star in my Framelit set but it really was easy to just cut it out.
I stamped my sentiment and then embossed the front of the card just down to the greeting. My silver ribbon hides the line where the embossing ends.

Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating today! Enjoy time with your family today!
If you like to give little treats to friends and family, these Petite Cafe Gift Bags are the perfect solution! They are made of kraft paper and lined inside so that you can add a goodie that might leak through the paper (cookies, zucchini bread . . . .). I decided to add Hershey’s Kisses. I don’t have the bag that the kisses came in but it was one of the smaller sizes. I added 1 1/2 packages to this bag. I realized too late that had I made my star shape opening lower down on the bag, I could have gotten away with just one bag of kisses. As it was, you could barely see the candy and I think that half the fun is seeing the candy peek through SO more candy went in!
Here’s how I created the opening with the Star Framelits.
1. Open the bag.
2. Place the Framelit with the cutting edge facing toward the front of the bag.
3. Run it through your Big Shot.
4. Cut a piece of Window Sheet plastic just a bit larger than your shape and place it inside your bag using glue dots.

It has been very difficult not to purchase EVERYTHING in the Holiday catalog. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Ornamental Pine and play with it! This is another stamp set that you can do so much with!
This card was easy to make and the results are stunning. I know that it’s hard to see from the picture but in person it is so sparkly. Are you wondering how I was able to achieve the sparkle? After stamping, I covered the entire card front with Versamark ink. I just turned the pad over and sponged the card with it. Then I sprinkled Iridescent Ice embossing power all over and heat embossed it!! Give it a try, I guarantee you will love the results! I do want to mention that on my first attempt, I used Craft cardstock. Once I heat set it, the overall effect was too dark and you couldn’t really see my stamping underneath it. When I tried using Very Vanilla, I was happy with the results!
