Spooky
Several days ago I had a chance to play with the stamp set Holiday Home from the Holiday catalog. What a fun set this is! I think at first glance (and because it is in a Holiday catalog) you might tend to think that this set is just for the holidays but it can used in so many different ways! In the catalog, there’s a cute example of a tag welcoming someone to their new home.
My card today shows how you can use this stamp set to make a Halloween card. I cut out a tag using our Kraft cardstock, which is much thicker than our regular cardstock, with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. I wanted to use the Angled Tag Topper punch but I didn’t have it at the time I was making the card (I will include both punches in my list of supplies below). Using the Homemade Holiday Framelits that coordinate with the Holiday Home stamps, I cut out one of the houses and placed black cardstock behind it. The OH SO CUTE bats, ghost and pumpkin are also included in the stamp set as well as my sentiment. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up the tag and our new White and Tangerine Tango Two Tone Trim through the top of the tag to finish it off

Happy Birthday, Audrey!
Today is my granddaughter’s second birthday! I absolutely adore this little person. She has brought such joy to my life and I am a very lucky grandma!! I can’t wait to celebrate with her later today!!
I’ve been quiet this week as we’ve had family visiting. Our days have been jam-packed with lots of fun so there’s been little time for stamping but I hope to get back to my stamp room in the next few days! In the meantime, here are the Weekly Deals! Today I have a card that I received from my upline, Dawn. She used the set Seasonally Scattered (you can see the card I posted the other day with this set HERE). She also used another the stamp set Four Feathers and cut them out with the Feathers Framelits Dies. I don’t have this stamp set with the coordinating Framelits but I have seen them used on so many cute cards. Dawn also added Dazzling Diamonds glitter. It is so shimmery and pretty in person.

Stripes
Several weeks ago I played around with the Stripes Decorative Mask. The hardest part of the card was deciding which colors to use!
After placing my Whisper White cardstock on my work surface, I used blue Painters tape all around the mask (stencil) so that it wouldn’t move while I sponged on color. I used sponges with my stamp pad but sponge daubers would also work. After adding a sentiment, I thought each card needed a little something extra, so I added some rhinestones. Pretty quick and easy card to make!

Seasonally Scattered
Happy Monday! I hope you had an enjoyable weekend! Last night my granddaughter spent the night and while she is still sleeping I thought I would quickly write this post!
This was a fun card to make! Using one of the stamps from the set Seasonally Scattered, I used my Stampin’ Write Markers (Pacific Point, Garden Green, Tempting Turquoise, Island Indigo) and colored directly onto the stamp. Once I finished, I huffed on the entire area to reactivate the ink and stamped it onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock. The fun thing about this, is that no two cards are alike, each one is a bit different. There is nothing difficult about this card but it does take more time than simply stamping in one color. But don’t you think the variety of colors is pretty? I bet you have some stamps in your stash that would lend themselves to this technique. Go give it a try!
