Here is a variation of a card I posted on September 30th.

I’m Back

It feels good to be posting again. My dad passed away on October 2nd. Losing my father has been one of the hardest things I’ve had to deal with. His health had been declining for quite some time but imagining life without him was something I just pushed away because it was too hard to deal with. Life won’t be the same without my wonderful father. It has been hard to get back into stamping but I am ready. I hope to start creating and posting real soon. Thank you for visiting!

Thinking of You

I just finished making this card tonight. I got a chance to use my Big Shot and that is always fun. I found the inspiration for this card on Patty Bennett’s site but the card was actually made by Barb Thomas. If you would like to see the original, click here and scroll down. I knew that I wanted to use different colors and you wouldn’t believe how long it took me to decide what colors I wanted and what went together. I’m happy with it and think I would like to try some other combinations as well. I love the Stampin’ Up! punches and you will find that I always use at least one for every project I do. For this card I actually used four of them!

Here are the supplies I used:

Paper: Garden Green, Lovely Lilac and Brilliant Blue cardstock, Flock Together Designer Series Paper

Ink: Basic Black Classic

Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes

Accessories: Scallop Oval punch, Trio Flower punch, Large Oval punch, Eyelet Border punch, Big Shot machine, Sizzlits Little Leaves, Sizzix Embosslits Simple Flower, gold brads, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Piercer, Snail adhesive

If you have any questions, or would like to place an order, please feel free to email me! You can also visit my Stampin’ Up! website (the link is below). You’ll be able to see our current promotions! Thanks for stopping by!

Matchbook Gift Card Holder

I just finished making this card tonight and am going to give it to a friend for her birthday tomorrow. I saw this idea at Andrea Walford’s site. She has so many wonderful ideas on her site and I check it daily. I made a few minor changes to the card but if you would like to see her version as well as a video tutorial, visit Andrea’s site here.

This card is supposed to resemble a matchbook, don’t know if you can tell by the pictures. There are two staples at the bottom but I covered those because I didn’t want to stamp my sentiment directly on the cardstock. I used an envelope inside to place the gift card into.

I have to prepare for my parent conferences so I will post the supplies for my card tomorrow. Click here if you would like to place a Stampin’ Up! order!

Here are the supplies I used:
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, and Pink Passion cardstock, Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Crazy For Cupcakes
Ink: Basic Black Classic
Accessories: Stampin’ Write pens: Green Galore, Pixie Pink and Real Red, Modern Label punch, Heart to Heart punch, Eyelet Border punch, Large pewter eyelets, Sticky strip, small glue dots, pink brads, 1/4 inch Pretty in Pink grosgrain ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Crop-A-Dile

Finally!

I finally have a card to share! The school year started three weeks ago and have just not had a moment to sit down and stamp. I actually had part of this card made months ago and finally finished it! I used the Big Shot Top Note Die and cut two pieces, one in blue and one in the Tea Party DSP (I love this paper and keep coming back to it). Then I trimmed the Tea Party paper so that the Ballet Blue would show through. A few accesories and I finished my card!

The Holiday Mini Catalog will be making its debut in a few weeks. Lots of fun new things! If you’ve ordered from me, you should be receiving it in the mail!

If you would like to host a workshop, email me and we can set a date! Thanks for visiting!
