Stampin’ Up! Seabed Embossing Folder

Today’s card features Whale of a Time 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder. I love all the colors in this paper and the turtles and whales are so cute! You can see another card using this paper HERE

Stampin Up! Seabed Embossing Folder

On the new Stampin’ Up! website, there are some really great photos of this paper. If you click HERE or on the image of the Designer Series Paper below, you’ll be taken to the page on my Stampin’ Up! online store where you’ll see this paper.  Once there, click the images on the left and scroll through the package!

Whale of a Time Patterned Paper

To create the card, I started with a piece of Pacific Point cardstock and then added a layer of Whisper White (all the measurements can be found below the Supply List). I embossed a piece of Just Jade cardstock using the Seabed Embossing Folder and then adhered it to the Whisper White. I used more Pacific Point cardstock as a mat for the Designer Series Paper.  I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to this piece to pop it up.

Stampin Up! Seabed Embossing Folder

The sentiment was stamped onto Whisper White cardstock using the stamp set, Today’s Tiles and Just Jade ink.  It was cut out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and I used the next larger size to cut out the Pacific Point rectangle.  My original plan was to place the sentiment more in the center of the card but I didn’t want to cover up the turtle who really does seem to be looking at you! Am I right?!

Supply List

Stampin’ Up! Nothing’s Better Than Bundle

The sentiment on today’s card is one I agree with.  Yes, I admit, I’m a chocoholic and chocolate can always be found in my home ESPECIALLY since March 2020.

Nothing's Better Than Stampin Up

The sentiment is actually three different stamps that I placed on my clear block.  As you can see, there are so many different possibilities with this one stamp set! I’m not a coffee person but I do love my chocolate, cookies and cocktails, in that order, so this stamp set really speaks to me.

Nothing's Better Than Stampin Up

Cinnamon Cider Stampin Up

I stamped several chocolate images onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock using an Early Espresso stamp pad.  After coloring them in with Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Blends, I cut them out with the coordinating dies, Love You More Than. Then I placed the chocolates on my Whisper White cardstock so I could  figure out where I wanted to place the chocolates.  When I knew where I wanted all of them,  I removed several and stamped some directly onto my paper and then added Stampin’ Dimensionals to four of the ones I’d cut out and adhered them to the card.

Today’s card was created using the Boho Indigo Product Medley Refill Kit.  If you have a catalog, you can find both the Boho Indigo Product Medley AND the Refill Kit on page 9.  There’s a big difference in price between these two products but I just wanted the Designer Series Paper so the refill kit was perfect for me. The Product Medley includes dies, a stamp set, Designer Series Paper, ribbon and more! The Refill Kit includes 48 sheets of 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, 6 sheets of dry embossed paper, die cuts and 40 paper flowers.

The base of my card is Thick Very Vanilla. The next layer is Misty Moonlight, one of our new In Colors this year. The two squares were cut using our regular Very Vanilla cardstock and were embossed using the the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. The Refill kit does come with several sheets of embossed paper and those could be used as well.

The sentiment was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock using the stamp set, Life is Beautiful. It was cut out using the Layering Ovals dies which I also used to cut out the scalloped ovals.  Usually I use glue to adhere all the sentiment pieces together and then add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and attach it to the card.  This time I added Dimensionals to the Misty Moonlight scallop (the middle layer) and then used glue on the back of the larger Very Vanilla scallop.

You can find all the measurements I used below the Supply List.

Stampin’ Up! Zany Zebras

I used the stamp set Zany Zebras and Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper to create today’s card.

Zany Zebras Stampin Up

I started with a base of Thick Whisper White cardstock and then cut strips of Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper (you can find the measurements I used below the supply list). I stamped the cute zebra onto Whisper White cardstock using Memento ink and then cut him out using the Layering Circles Dies. The Calypso Coral scalloped circle was also cut out using these dies.

Zany Zebras Stampin Up

Zany Zebras Stampin Up

The sentiment, also from the Zany Zebras stamp set, was stamped onto Whisper White cardstock using Calypso Coral ink and cut out using the Rectangle Stitched Dies.  Ninety-nine percent of the time I stamp first and then cut the words or shape out.  I find it so much easier to stamp and then line up the die rather than try to stamp directly onto the shape.

Zany Zebras Stamp Set

Both the sentiment and the Calypso Coral scalloped circle are popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I used this same layout with a card I shared last week using several products from the Whale Done Suite.  You can see it here

Stampin’ Up! Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper

Today’s card was created using the brand new Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper

Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper

The base of the card is Mint Macaron cardstock.  There are copper foil accents in the sheet of Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper I used, so I added a layer of Copper Foil.  I embossed the two pieces of Mint Macaron cardstock using the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder (you can find all the measurements below the Supply List).

The sentiment is from the stamp set Today’s Tiles and I stamped it using Cajun Craze ink.  It was cut out using one of the dies from the Little Treat Box Dies and it sits on a piece of Copper Foil (if you missed yesterday’s post using these dies as well as another pattern in the Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper pack, you can see it here).

Stampin’ Up! Little Treat Box Dies

The August-December 2020 Mini Catalog is filled with so many brand new products! One of the first products to catch my eye was the Little Treat Box Dies.  It makes a treat box that’s SO easy to make and no adhesive is needed!

Little Treat Box Dies

My treat box was made using another new product, Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The design I used has beautiful copper and gold foil designs.

The largest die in the set is what you’ll use to make the treat box and the die will fit onto a piece of 6″x 6″ piece of paper  (see the photo below for placement). The die set also includes several tags and embellishments.  It pairs beautifully with the Little Treats stamp set (I didn’t use this stamp set on today’s project) and is available as a bundle (I have a picture of the bundle farther down in the post).

Little Treat Box Dies

Little Treat Box Dies

As I mentioned, the box is so easy to make and no adhesive is necessary. When you run the die through your die-cutting machine, it creates score lines as well as two slits and tabs which makes it a breeze to put together.  If you need to make a lot of treat holders, you’ll be able to do it easily with the Little Treat Box Dies!

Little Treat Box Dies

To give you an idea as to the size of the treat box, I have two Hershey’s Nuggets inside. I’m sure you’ll be able to come up with lots of other ideas to tuck inside.

Little Treat Box Dies

The sentiment, from the stamp set, Banner Year, was stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Versamark ink and then was embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. It was cut out using one of the tag dies in the Little Treat Box Dies.

There are so many possibilities with this set of dies!

Whale Done Bundle and Important Information

Hello, Friends! I have a card to share with you today but first I want to pass on some important information. Not only will you be able to begin ordering from the new 2020 Mini Catalog tomorrow BUT  Stampin’ Up! will also be unveiling a brand new online store with many new features and improvements! Everything should run smoothly but there are several things I want to point out:

When placing your first order on the new site, your password will be recognized but only if you manually enter it.  If your browser automatically enters it for you, it will think you’re on a brand new site and won’t know your information. So please manually enter your password the first time on the new site and if you use “bookmarks”, create a new one for the new site. If you’ve forgotten your password, you can click the “Forgot Password” link and reset your password.

When shopping with me, please make sure my name is at the top of the page.

Some of the links I have on my blog may not work and might be “broken”.  Once the new store is live, I’ll be checking to make sure any links you click are in fact going to the new site.

At midnight tonight (Mountain Time) the Stampin’ Up! online store will go offline.  The new site will launch at 7:00 am (Mountain Time) and you’ll be able to start ordering from the new catalog!

Whale Done Bundle

Reminder:  Today’s the last day to earn Bonus Days Coupon Codes! With every $50 purchase, you’ll earn a $5.00 Bonus Coupon that you can apply to an order starting tomorrow (August 4-31).

It’s time for a card! I used the Whale Done Bundle to create today’s card which includes the Whale Done stamp set and the Whale Builder Punch (you can find all the products I used in the Supply List below). I started with a base of Pretty Peacock cardstock and then ran a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock through my die-cutting machine using the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to the center of my card base.

Next, I cut two pieces of Whale of a Time 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper into 1″ strips (you can find all the measurements I used below the Supply List) and placed them above and below the embossed Seabed piece.

The sentiment was stamped onto Whisper White cardstock using the stamp set, Whale Done, in Balmy Blue ink.  I cut it out using the Layering Circles Dies and cut another larger circle using Pretty Peacock cardstock. The whale was cut out of the Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper using the Whale Builder Punch (so easy, right?).  I used Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the whale and the Pretty Peacock scalloped circle.
