I want to apologize for any confusion concerning the Retiring Lists. It appears that many stamp sets are retiring and that isn’t the case. Because we are transitioning to cling mount stamps, all stamp sets in wood and clear mount are on the retiring list when in fact some of them are returning in cling form.
Stamp sets offered in clear-mount or wood-mount in the 2018–2019 annual catalog that are carrying over into the 2019–2020 annual catalog will be offered in clear-mount and/or wood-mount until existing inventory has been depleted or until June 4, 2019 (whichever comes first). (more…)
You can now see which products are being retired from the Stampin’ Up! Annual & Occasions Catalogs. Everything is while supplies last so get your favorites now. In the past, all the retiring In Color products have flown off the shelves! All retiring stamp sets have guaranteed availability until May 24, 2019 but everything else is while supplies last! (more…)
Before I share today’s card I want to let you know that Stampin’ Up! will be releasing a list of everything that will be retiring from the Occasions and Annual Catalogs this afternoon. Once I have the list, I will post again right here on my blog. If you receive updates via email when I post to my blog, you won’t be notified until tomorrow (that’s just the way the system is set up) so if you want to see the list as soon as you can, please check back here later today! On Tuesday I announced that the Big Shot and Stampin’ Trimmer will not be in the new Annual Catalog debuting on June 4, 2019. A new die cutting system is on the horizon but it’s unknown when a new machine will replace the Big Shot. A new trimmer is in the works but again, we don’t have a date as to when a new one will be available.
What This News Means To You
- Dies and embossing folders could sell out! Until the retiring list comes out on April 15th at 1:00 MT, we won’t know what’s being carried over into the next catalog but in the meantime, a die or embossing folder that you’ve had your eye on could sell out. I found out yesterday that the Stitched Shapes Framelits have sold out and have been discontinued. At this point I don’t know if that means they will be returning and made to the new suppliers specifications or whether they are gone for good. Again, if there are any dies or embossing folders that you love, please purchase them now so you aren’t disappointed!
- You can still purchase the Big Shot and accessories but only while supplies last. The cutting plates are currently on backorder but as of this minute, you can still order them and they will ship when they reach the warehouse.
- You can still purchase the Stampin’ Trimmer, while supplies last! BUT replacement scoring blades and the replacement mat have sold out and new stock will not be ordered. Cutting blades are still available as of right now.
- You will be able to purchase new dies and folders in the Annual Catalog debuting on June 4, 2019.
If you follow me, you know that I LOVE my Big Shot. I will continue to use mine and share projects using it until Stampin’ Up! debuts a new machine in the future. The Big Shot will be available until June 3, 2109 or while supplies last.
Anyone who purchases a Big Shot in my Stampin’ Up! online store will receive the Country Floral Embossing Folder from me. The embossing folder will come directly from me and will not be included in your package from Stampin’ Up!

Today I have two cards to share with you. I couldn’t decide which one I liked better so I’m posting both! Do you have a preference for one or the other? (more…)
TWO major announcements were made this morning! Please know that Stampin’ Up! always strives for high quality products so I believe these changes will be good for all of us!
Big Shot: Before I begin with this announcement please know that die- cutting is not going away, it’s just being improved! Whew!!!
Stampin’ Up! is making some big changes to their die-cutting and embossing product line. They are transitioning to a direct-to-manufacturer relationship. This will allow them to work directly with the factories who manufacture their dies and folders instead of working with another company who then works with different factories. This gives them greater control and potential in the manufacturing process. Unfortunately there have been some challenges and setbacks along the way and because of this, a die-cutting & embossing machine will not be offered in the 2019–2020 annual catalog. (more…)
I recently participated in a color challenge and this is the card I created. The colors that needed to be used were Blueberry Bushel, Pineapple Punch and Lovely Lipstick! (more…)

The Wishing You Well stamp set is one that carried over from the Holiday Catalog so you won’t find it any of our current catalogs but you can still order it! I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it will make it into the new Annual Catalog and won’t be on the Retiring List which comes out in the next few weeks. (more…)
I went out of my comfort zone a bit with this card. If you are a regular follower of my blog, I think you’ll notice that this card is a little different from what I normally post. I created the card following a sketch, which is just a starting point and you can change elements of it, which I did. I went back and forth trying to decide if I wanted to add the So Saffron embossed piece but I decided to keep it – that’s what took me out of my comfort zone! Wow, so daring of me! (more…)
The ordering period for this month’s card kit has ended.
Watch for a new kit on May 1, 2019.
I’m really excited to offer my FREE Needlepoint Nook Card Kit! If you’ve recently placed an order with me, you’ve received one or more of my card kits. This kit is a little bit different so please read on!! (more…)
