I have another card to share with you today that uses my Product of the Week, the beautiful Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper. It’s an easy card to make but this paper makes it look so fancy!
The base of my card is Grapefruit Grove, one of the new In Colors this year. I embossed the Whisper White layer using the Layered Leaves embossing folder. I thought leaves would would work really nicely with the flowers in the paper. I added a strip of Petal Promenade Designer Series paper that measured 1-3/8″ x 5-1/4″ directly onto the embossed piece and then wrapped Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon in Whisper White (it’s so pretty and delicate in person) around the cardstock. I was very proud of myself for actually remembering to do this BEFORE gluing the layer to the Grapefruit Grove base. I can’t tell you how many times I have the plan in my head to wrap ribbon around my card and then I go ahead and glue the piece down before adding it! Does that ever happen to you?
The sentiment is from the stamp set, Detailed with Love and was inked up with Memento Ink. I used the Layering Ovals Framelits to cut out the sentiment as well as the Grapefruit Grove piece the sentiment is layered on. Three Grapefruit Grove pearls from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls finished the card!
