For the next few weeks I’m going to try something new! Each week I’ll have a Product of the Week and will feature that product throughout the week. This week it’s the gorgeous Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper and if you love flowers as much as I do, you’re going to love this paper!
My project today is a box that has a beautifully wrapped bar of soap inside that I purchased at World Market. The box is very easy to make and my video today will show you how to put it together!
Here are the measurements if you’d like to make it as you watch! Please note that in the video I say the measurements for the top of the box incorrectly but the correct measurements are written on the screen in the video. I made a quick change as I was making the box and realized I needed to make the box 1/8″ larger than I said.
- Fresh Fig (bottom of the box): 5-1/4″ x 7″ score at 1-1/2″ on all four sides (Be sure to cut a smidge off two connecting sides – see video)
- Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper (top of the box): 4-1/4″ x 6″ score at 1″ on all four sides
- Whisper White: scrap for sentiment
- Mini Ruffled Ribbon in Fresh Fig: approximately 16″
