My project today uses Stampin’ Up! Acetate Card Boxes along with the two products I’ve been spotlighting all week: Seasonal Tags Framelits Dies and the Seasonal Chums stamp set. A set of cards and envelopes fit perfectly inside these Acetate Card Boxes but candy works too!! These Reese’s Peanut Butter Eyeballs look very spooky!
The boxes are packaged flat but are very easy to assemble. After adding the eyeballs (ha, ha), I used our Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon to wrap it up although you can still get in the box without taking the ribbon off. I stamped the pumpkin in Memento ink onto Whisper White cardstock and then colored it in with my Stampin’ Blends. I used Light & Dark Pumpkin Pie, Dark Daffodil Delight, Light Old Olive and Dark Soft Suede. I easily cut him out with the Seasonal Tags Framelits Dies and the little bat too! I’m always so focused on the large dies that I forgot those little ones are in the set too!
After cutting out a Whisper White square using the Stitched Shapes Framelits, I stamped the sentiment (also from the Seasonal Chums stamp set). The Pumpkin Pie scalloped square was cut out using the Layering Squares Framelits which coordinates perfectly with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.
To finish the box, I added several glue dots to the top of the pumpkin square and tucked it underneath the ribbon. Quick, easy AND cute! Right?
