This week I’m sharing ideas using the Seasonal Tags Framelits and the Seasonal Chums stamp set.  If you missed the cards from earlier this week, you can see them here and here

The cards on Monday and Tuesday used the Softly Falling embossing folder but today’s card uses the Woodland embossing folder.  These folders are like magic – insert your paper in a folder, crank it through the Big Shot and you’ve got a gorgeous embossed piece of paper! This is just one reason why I love my Big Shot!

I used the Layering Circles Framelits to cut a hole in my Whisper White cardstock.  You’ll want to cut the hole first, THEN emboss your paper.  If you do it the other way around, you’ll flatten your embossing. Been there, done that!

My heat-embossed sentiment is from the stamp set At Home with You but you could also use the Merry Christmas sentiment in the Seasonal Chums stamp set.  When heat embossing, you want to be sure to rub the Embossing Buddy over the surface of your paper first.  You’ll find that you have a lot less stray embossing powder on your paper.  Stamp your image using Versamark and then pour your powder over it.  Shake off the excess and then heat the image with the Heat Tool.  Let the Heat Tool run for about thirty seconds before directing it at your paper as this will help with warping. The sentiment was cut out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits

I used Stampin’ Blends to color the reindeer in these colors:  Light & Dark Crumb Cake, Light Cherry Cobbler and Dark Mango Melody. Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to pop up the reindeer, the sentiment and the Whisper White cardstock piece with the hole cut out.
