This week I’m featuring the Seasonal Tags Framelits & the Seasonal Chums stamp set. Yesterday I used the reindeer from the set and if you missed that card, you can see it here. Today, it’s all about the little snowman!
I stamped my snowman onto Whisper White cardstock and then used my Stampin Blends to color the little guy and the bunny: Dark Pumpkin Pie, Light & Dark Cherry Cobbler, Light & Dark Shaded Spruce, and Light & Dark Smoky Slate. All of the large images in the stamp set (snowman, reindeer and pumpkin) come with both a front and back. Use it as a tag or separate the two and just use the front!
I embossed the Whisper White cardstock using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder and the Big Shot and it’s glued to a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock. I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits to cut out the Whisper White square the snowman is on as well as the sentiment. The Layering Squares Framelits were used for the Cherry Cobbler scalloped square and the Layering Ovals Framelits were used for the Cherry Cobbler scalloped oval the sentiment sits on. The sentiment is the Seasonal Chums stamp set.
You might be thinking, wow, she used a lot of dies! I did! But I use these dies ALL the time. Over and over again. It’s like buying mixing bowls, a crock pot and containers for your flour and sugar. You make the initial investment but you use these items in your kitchen constantly. It’s the same with crafting. These basic dies get a lot of use and if you follow my blog, you’ll get lots of ideas for using them because as I said, I use them all the time! The Big Shot itself is also a big investment but I truly can’t imagine crafting without it! One last thing, the Stitched Shapes Framelits coordinate with the Layering Squares, Layering Ovals and Layering Circles Dies!
I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and on the snowman. I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals just behind each mitten too!
