On Tuesday I announced that the Big Shot and Stampin’ Trimmer will not be in the new Annual Catalog debuting on June 4, 2019. A new die cutting system is on the horizon but it’s unknown when a new machine will replace the Big Shot. A new trimmer is in the works but again, we don’t have a date as to when a new one will be available.
What This News Means To You
- Dies and embossing folders could sell out! Until the retiring list comes out on April 15th at 1:00 MT, we won’t know what’s being carried over into the next catalog but in the meantime, a die or embossing folder that you’ve had your eye on could sell out. I found out yesterday that the Stitched Shapes Framelits have sold out and have been discontinued. At this point I don’t know if that means they will be returning and made to the new suppliers specifications or whether they are gone for good. Again, if there are any dies or embossing folders that you love, please purchase them now so you aren’t disappointed!
- You can still purchase the Big Shot and accessories but only while supplies last. The cutting plates are currently on backorder but as of this minute, you can still order them and they will ship when they reach the warehouse.
- You can still purchase the Stampin’ Trimmer, while supplies last! BUT replacement scoring blades and the replacement mat have sold out and new stock will not be ordered. Cutting blades are still available as of right now.
- You will be able to purchase new dies and folders in the Annual Catalog debuting on June 4, 2019.
If you follow me, you know that I LOVE my Big Shot. I will continue to use mine and share projects using it until Stampin’ Up! debuts a new machine in the future. The Big Shot will be available until June 3, 2109 or while supplies last.
Anyone who purchases a Big Shot in my Stampin’ Up! online store will receive the Country Floral Embossing Folder from me. The embossing folder will come directly from me and will not be included in your package from Stampin’ Up!
