Today’s card is one that I made way back in September but forgot to post! A Little Wild is the perfect stamp set for a spinner card because each animal in the set is two-sided PLUS the stamp set has the coordinating Little Loves Framelits Dies .  The stamp set and dies can be purchased separately but if you purchase them together you’ll save 10%,  This bundle is on the retirement list! A Little Wild and the Little Loves Framelits Dies are NOT retiring but once the new catalog begins, this bundle will be gone.  So, if you love it as much as I do, be sure to pick it up before May 31st and save 10%!  In my supply list at the end of the post, I’ll include both the stamp set and dies individually as well as the bundles. Here’s how to make the card:

The first step is to stamp and cut out the bear.  Trim around the bears ears so that you have two separate pieces. Trim off the piece with the hole (it’s there so you can also use it as a gift tag).

Color the bear.  I used Watercolor Pencils and a blender pen.

Add some adhesive to one side of the bear (I used Tear and Tape because it’s really strong) and attach a piece of Silver Metallic Thread as shown below. Attach the two sides of the bear together.

Using the two largest circles in the Stitched Shapes Framelts, position them on your paper as I’ve done in the photo below and run it through your Big Shot.  You’ll end up with the brown ring that the bear will be attached to. You’ll use the smaller Framelit again, so keep it nearby.

Attach Tear and Tape to the ring as shown below and place the silver thread on top of it, making sure that it’s tight.  Cut off any extra thread at the top and bottom.

Fold your 11″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Whisper white cardstock in half and then open it.  Using the smaller Framelit that I asked you to set aside, place it on the front of your cardstock and run it through the Big Shot.  Keeping the cardstock open, use the Polka Dot Basics embossing folder and place the front of the card inside the embossing folder and run it through the Big Shot.  Do this step last.  If you emboss and then cut out the hole, your embossing will be flattened.

Add adhesive to the brown ring and attach it on top of the cut out circle on your card.

Stamp your sentiment with Early Espresso ink and cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

On the inside of the card, use Memento Ink and stamp the bees, also included in A Little Wild.  Color them in with your Watercolor Pencils.

Before placing the card in an envelope, turn the bear several times so that when the card is taken out, it will spin!

I’ll work on a video for this card and hope to have it later this week! If you have any questions, let me know!
