Today I have two cards to share with you. I couldn’t decide which one I liked better so I’m posting both! Do you have a preference for one or the other?
Both cards use all the same supplies but one starts with a Flirty Flamingo base and the other one, Thick Whisper White. To add some dimension, I used the Tin Tile embossing folder. I’ve had this embossing folder for quite some time but just started using it for the first time a few weeks ago. I don’t know why it took me so long! It’s so pretty in person!
Both cards also use our 6″ x 6″ Brights Designer Series Paper. This package contains all ten colors from the Brights collection, including the one I used, Flirty Flamingo.
The sentiment I used, Thankful Thoughts, was stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink and cut out using the Big Shot and the Layering Ovals Dies.
Card #1 (with Whisper White base):
- Cut a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock that measures 11″ x 4-1/2″. Score at 5-1/2″ and fold in half.
- Cut a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock that measures 5-1/4″ x 4″. Place it in the Tin Tile Embossing Folder and run it through the Big Shot. Adhere to the front of the card.
- Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock that measures 4-1/4″ x 3-1/4″. Cut a piece of 6″ x 6″ Brights Designer Series Paper in Flirty Flamingo that measures 4″ x 3″. Attach to the Whisper White. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and attach to the card.
- Stamp the sentiment in Flirty Flamingo ink. Cut it out with the Big Shot and the Layering Ovals Dies. Cut two more ovals larger than the sentiment in Flirty Flamingo and Whisper White. Layer together. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and attach to the front of the card.
Card #2 (with Flirty Flamingo base)
- Cut a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock that measures 11″ x 4-1/2″. Score at 5-1/2″ and fold in half.
- Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock that measures 5-1/4″ x 4″. Place it in the Tin Tile Embossing Folder and run it through the Big Shot. Adhere to the front of the card.
- Cut a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock that measures 4-1/4″ x 3-1/4″. Cut a piece of 6″ x 6″ Brights Designer Series Paper in Flirty Flamingo that measures 4″ x 3″. Attach to the Flirty Flamingo. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and attach to the card.
- Stamp the sentiment in Flirty Flamingo ink. Cut it out with the Big Shot and the Layering Ovals Dies. Cut two more ovals larger than the sentiment in Flirty Flamingo and Whisper White. Layer together. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and attach to the front of the card.
