Today’s card was made using the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Gingerbread Bundle which includes the Sweet Gingerbread stamp set and the Gingerbread House Dies. I also used one of the Wintry 3D Embossing Folders to add some dimension to my snow.

This was a fun card to make. There are a lot of little pieces to cut out using the Gingerbread House Dies but once you have all your pieces ready, it goes fast.

I started with a base of Thick Basic White cardstock.  Then I used the Gingerbread House Dies to cut the snow, house, roof, windows and heart. I used the Sweet Gingerbread stamp set, to add the swirls to the house using Early Espresso ink, stamped the door in Real Red ink onto Basic White cardstock and stamped the trees in Garden Green ink, also onto Basic White cardstock.

Next, I used one of the Wintry 3D Embossing Folders to add dimension to the snow.  I went back and forth wondering if I should just leave it plain but when in doubt, emboss! I used the Gingerbread House Dies to cut the trees and door. Time to assemble!!

First, I adhered the roof, heart and door to the house. Then I adhered the snow to the card but left areas open so I could slip in the house and trees. After adding adhesive to the back of the house and the trees, I placed them behind the snow. I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White cardstock using Real Red ink and the Sweet Gingerbread stamp set and cut it out using the Gingerbread House Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it right above the chimney.

To complete my card, I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside to give the card a little bit more stability.
