I don’t usually give cards on Halloween but I do like to give treats that are packaged in a cute way. I wanted a box that would fit a mini package of Rolos and this is the box I created.
The base of the box is made with Basic Black and the cover that wraps around is Happy Haunting DSP. I just purchased the Subtle Stripes Satin Ribbon – what was I waiting for??? It is absolutely gorgeous. It’s a little hard to tell in the photo but my sentiment sits on top of our Black Glimmer paper.

Yesterday I posted this treat bag and today I have a video showing you how I made it. At the end of the post you’ll find all of the supplies listed as well as the measurements you’ll need.
There’s one part in the video that I don’t think is clear. When cutting your 12″ x 12″ paper, be careful if you have a pattern where it matters if it is right-side up. For instance, I wanted my ghosts to be going “up and down”. Next, before you start to score at the 1″ mark, make sure again that your paper is with the top of the pattern up at the top. I hope that makes sense!!

I know it’s a little early to be thinking about treats for the end of October but here’s a little bag to fill with special treats. I used our Sketched Dots Tag a Bag Gift Bags, very pretty translucent bags that are food safe.
I attached a Spider Web Doily to the front of the bag and attached a circle of Black Glimmer Paper on top of the doily. My photo really doesn’t do the glimmer paper justice, at all. My Spooky sentiment comes from the set Among the Branches which was punched out with the 2″ Circle Punch. If you bundle this set with the Woodland Textured Embossing Folder, you’ll receive a 15% discount (see product list below).
My cute little spider comes from the set Howl-o-ween Treat. I chose to close the bag with a clothespin but I think it would be just as cute left open.
Have a wonderful weekend!
