Hi Stamping Friends!
I made this card last week with the intention of showing one way to use the glitter tape that was available during Sale-a-bration but it sold out before I could write my post. Another product that could be substituted is our Glimmer Paper. A small strip on both sides of the card would give it just the perfect amount of sparkle!
The real star of the show though is the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper! It’s so pretty that you really don’t need much else to make this card. After adding the sparkle tape, I cut a 3-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of DSP and adhered it to a piece of Watermelon Wonder that measured 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. My sentiment is stamped with Memento Ink using one of the Circle of Spring stamps. I used the 1-3/8″ Circle punch and adhered it to a Mint Macaron 1-3/4″ Scallop Circle. My paper piercer was used to poke holes around each scallop. (Edited: Earlier I stated the incorrect size Scallop Circle punch – it has been corrected).
After I photographed the card I thought it could use a little bling and that version can be seen below. What do you think? Which version do you prefer?

OCTOBER HOST CODE: GU6J472B
It’s the start of a new week! I hope you had an enjoyable weekend! Today I have another treat holder but this one is teeny tiny. A “fun size” piece of candy would fit inside or some other small treat. The pictures below will give you an idea of the size.
They are quite easy to make and oh so cute. You’ll need a little bit of adhesive on the side and for the bottom flap. Here you’ll find a Recipe Card PDF for the project (I like to keep them in a binder for future reference) with the supplies and measurements: For You Treat Bag
Many thanks to Erica Cerwin for this cute idea!

I am a sucker for flowers and just love this wreath! This is a new stamp set in the Annual Catalog called Circle of Spring. Last year in the Winter catalog we had a cute stamp set called Wondrous Wreath (click here to see that stamp set) which also had a matching Framelit. Both the stamp set and Framelit are now in the Annual Catalog – yea!!! But the best part?? You can use Circle of Spring with the Wonderful Wreath Framelits!!!

I stamped the wreath with Memento Ink and then colored it with my Stampin’ Write markers. It’s very relaxing to sit and color while watching television. I stamped the sentiment and then punched it out with my 2″ Circle Punch. I put Stampin’ Dimensionals just around the edge of the circle on front and placed the wreath on top of it. I originally made it without dimensionals and I wasn’t happy. Adding the dimensionals gave it the look that I wanted. I added the lace to it at the last minute because I thought it looked a little plain without it but the wreath is so pretty that I think it can stand alone.

Last week I mentioned that I had a few birthdays coming up and that I would need some gift card holders. I made small ones but the gift cards I purchased were attached to cardboard so I had to go back to the drawing board. Here’s one I made for my sister using my Envelope Punch Board and a piece of yummy Cucumber Crush from the 2015-2017 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack.
And one for my brother-in-law using Smoky Slate from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack.
Quick Tip: I used the stamp set, Remembering Your Birthday, for the gift card holder above. In the picture below, you can see the stamp I used in the lower right hand corner. I only wanted Happy Birthday, not “friends and fun and presents too” so I just inked up Happy Birthday. Usually when I do this, I have to cover the words I don’t want with a post it before I ink it, but the words are spaced far enough apart that it wasn’t necessary. More mileage out of your stamp sets!
You can see this same style gift card holder from a previous post here.
(Note: After writing and publishing this post, I took a shower – I do my BEST thinking in the shower. Anyway, it dawned on me that the gift card in the previous post that I mention above is not the same as the one in this post. I had to make adjustments for the larger size of the gift card. My paper size was 8-1/4″ x 8-1/4″ and I did my first score and punch at 3-3/8.)
Thanks for stopping by today!
