For the past several days I’ve shared several ideas using the stamp set Butterfly Basics. It’s a great set with so many possibilities and it comes in either wood mount, clear or photopolymer.
To create my card, I first stamped it with Memento Ink onto Whisper White cardstock and then used my Copic markers to color it, which are a non Stampin’ Up! product. The base of the card is Whisper White. I embossed a piece of Whisper White cardstock using the Petal Burst embossing folder and layered it on top of a piece of Real Red cardstock.. The sentiment, also included in the Butterfly Basics stamp set, was stamped in Memento Ink and cut out with the Layering Ovals Framelits using the Big Shot.
Card Dimensions – Below you’l find the dimensions for my card. I love seeing your creations so if you make this card, please email me! You’d make my day!
Whisper White (card base): 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Real Red: 5-1/4″ x 4″
Whisper White (embossed layer): 5″ x 3-3/4″
Real Red: 4″ x 2-1/2″
Whisper White (flower): 3-3/4″ x 2-1/4″

It’s the first Friday of the month so that means it’s time for the First Fridays Blog Hop! Our theme this month is: Retiring In Colors.

Some of the 2015-2017 In Colors products have already sold out but the In Color Designer Series Paper Stack is still available and that’s what I used to create my bags. There are 40 sheets in this stack with 4 each of 2 double-sided designs. This paper, along with any products in the retiring 2015-2017 In Colors, are only available while supplies last!

To make my bags, I pulled out my Gift Bag Punch Board. This tool makes it so easy to make a lot of bags in a short amount of time! Each bag was created using paper from this retiring paper stack. The fronts are decorated with a combination of paper from this paper stack as well as cardstock which is not retiring: Whisper White, Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight.
At the end of my post you’ll find a list of all the Stamping Supplies I used to create my bags!
The Gift Bag Punch Board allows you to make bags in a variety of sizes. You can close them up – I used the Gold Binder Clips – or leave them open. Either way works!
When making your bag, first, you need to decide if you want a small, medium or large sized bag and that will determine how you’ll cut one side of your paper. A small bag will have a 10″ side, medium will have an 11″ side and the large will be cut at 12″. The other measurement will be the height of your bag. Experiment and see what you like! I made a variety of different sizes so hopefully that will give you a starting point.
Here are the dimensions I used for my bags:
Cucumber Crush (small): 10″ x 3-3/4″
Tip Top Taupe (small): 10″ x 6″
Delightful Dijon (medium): 11″ x 4-1/2″
Watermelon Wonder (large): 12″ x 5″
Mint Macaron (large): 12″ x 7″
I hope you’ll continue on the hop! Next up is Kathie Steffke!

Stamping Supplies – My sentiments are from the stamp set, Eastern Beauty. This set will be available in the new Annual Catalog in June but it can be purchased now as part of two Eastern Palace Bundles
Have a wonderful weekend!

I hope your week has started off well! Today I am sharing cards I made over the weekend to send out to customers who placed orders in the last few days.

I don’t like sharing product that you can’t purchase so while I would normally add some pearls or rhinestones to my card, I didn’t as they’ve sold out.
The paper I used to cut out the butterflies, Floral Boutique, is on the retired list but as of right now, it’s available and not showing up as being low inventory. I used the Petal Burst embossing folder for the Whisper White layer. You could definitely make the card without the embossing but I think it adds a nice touch.
Tip: I used glue dots down the center of the butterfly. You could also use Stampin’ Dimensionals.
You’ll find a list of all the products I used to make this card below as well as the measurements for the layers.

Measurements for Layers
Thick Whisper White: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
Night of Navy cardstock: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Whisper White: 3-3/4″ x 5″

Today’s card is one that I made back in June when the stamp set, Sitting Here, was just released. Doesn’t the kitty look so relaxed sitting on the swing?

I stamped the kitty and the pillows onto Whisper White cardstock and fussy cut them out. It gives a nice dimensional look to the card. The oval was cut out with the Layering Ovals Framelits and popped up with our Foam Adhesive Strips . The sentiment is in the stamp set Rose Wonder.
Because I made the card so long ago, I cannot remember what I used to color the stamped images. I believe I used my Copic Markers (non Stampin’ Up! supply) but our Stampin’ Write markers are also another option.

Lately while creating in my craft room I’ve been trying to make several variations of the same card so that I’ll have a nice stash of cards to use! That means I have more than one card to share today! My cards were inspired by Jeanie Stark, a fellow Stampin’ Up! demo.
All of my cards use the same design but I changed them up with different paper and colors. All of the Designer Series Paper (DSP) comes from the Festive Birthday DSP and I have to say that I really love all of the bright, cheerful designs.
I always refer to the back of the package of paper or the catalog to see which colors coordinate and so, I used Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Crushed Curry and Whisper White. I stamped my sentiments in these same colors and cut them out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits which sit on top of one of the Layering Ovals Framelits.

The sentiments I used are included in the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit (a kit which includes a photopolymer stamp set and all of the supplies needed to make 20 different cards – you just need to supply adhesive).

The flower on each card was created with the Blossom Bunch Punch and I added an Enamel Shape to the center of each one.
If you’d like to create your own, the measurements are included below as well as all of the supplies I used for all of the cards.
Base of Card: 4-1/4″ x 11″ Score @ 5-1/2′
Cardstock: 3-3/8″ x 3-5/8″
Designer Series Paper: 3-1/8″ x 3-3/8″
